The Passage was such a good show. I would have liked to buy this on blu ray, but it apparently is not available, so I bought the digital episodes on Amazon. This is such a smart and well done show about vampires. The acting is wonderful and the writers and directors did a great job adapting the material from the novel. I can't say enough good things about this show and wish Fox hadn't cancelled it. If you are a fan of the vampire genre I would highly recommend.

Well, the book is almost always better, but I really loved this series. However, the TV show was fun. They changed a few of the characters that I wish they didn't and some that probably made the story easier to tell. I am disappointed that they didn't make a second season, that could have been quite an adventure. My favorite characters in the series are Amy (Saniyya Sidney was fantastic - I hope to see her in more roles) and Brad Wolgast (Mark-Paul Gosselaar is always fun to watch and he really nailed his role).

Just when I think the writers/producers/directors/studios can’t possible have a new take on the vampire/zombie sagas, they surprise. This is an inventive take on, mostly, vampires, but that hardly does it justice. Looking forward to more. Just watch it. But be forewarned, IMHO this is NOT for kids. It’s bloody for sure, and is the stuff of nightmares for kids.

The Passage is a bad mash up of The Walking Dead, Outbreak and the ubiquitous adult/precocious child buddy film. The 10 year old AA actor and her (Saved By the Bell) co-star have good on-screen chemistry but the plot is so contrived (vampires... really??) it's difficult to stick with this show. Most of the main characters are hideously evil or so pathetic it's difficult to relate. The writers are trying way too hard to build a cult following and only succeed in wearing out their welcome while the storyline creeps along. The Passage is a big NOPE.

The show feels like every other cancelled Fox tv series. The relationships are microwaved, the characters are undeveloped, and the plot is missing the point. Thankfully, the novel does everything else well, so there is always an alternative to the show. Perhaps my hopes were too high when the show was announced. It's all just so generic. Nothing new, everything you've seen before, thanks for wasting the opportunity for this story. I'm sure they started off with a fantastic story, before the studio exec made creative changes based on the results of their focus group. If you have nothing else to watch, go ahead, but you could be reading instead.

This was very imaginative considering that there are dozens of vampire and zombie movies. To combine the two characteristics plus have the original vampire grow stronger only when the person her turns then gives into his authority was clever.

I been have an advent Vampire buff enthusiast since I was a youth. The story line had a strong beginning, but lost it's story line as time progress. Too Bad there will not be a season two to really give this show substance.

I loved everything about it. I was sadden when there wasn’t any more episodes. I enjoyed it and purchased the series. Really wish that they will re-think and do part 3. No I have not read the book. Ofttimes, the writers for tv series have to go away from some original things in the book. It was a good and excellent series.
