About Paula Meyer
Paula Meyer recently retired from a position as events director for New York Times bestselling author, Dr Joe Dispenza. She has more than 30 years’ experience as an event, workshop, and meeting planner and as a procurement/contracting specialist, and 12 years in author/speaker management.
In her work for Dr. Dispenza, she had the pleasure of organizing and managing 135 workshops around the world for his company Encephalon, which grew from 75 participants when they began running them independently in 2013, to 2000 participants with event partners by the time she retired in Feb 2019! These included weekend workshops and week-long workshops, where there were many moving parts including venue contracting, partnerships with international organizers, vendor management including AV and translation, challenge activities, scientific testing, and team leader and volunteer staff management. In addition to the workshops they ran, she also managed his events with outside companies for lectures, keynotes, 1-day workshops, and weekend workshops, as well as his publisher book contracts. She has travelled to 17 countries, some multiple times, and many stops all over the US.
After recently becoming a widow at 54, one of Paula’s goals is to help other widows get back in the game of life and realize there is still so much to learn and love with the time we have left. Paula travels internationally and lives in Washington, Colorado, and Florida.
Her new post-retirement endeavor, GP Eventworx, is an event production company specializing in author/speaker/teacher workshops in the US and internationally, including grief workshops for widows, with Denise Dielwart. With offices located in Rainier WA, Denver CO, and Jacksonville FL, they are strategically located to manage workshops around the world. Additionally, the Denver office has a division for weddings and corporate events. For more information, www.gpeventworx.com
