not okay for 7+

I was shocked to hear - in this movie supposedly okay for little kids - the discussion the mother had with her daughter about sex. "I may be old-fashioned, but I think love should come before sex." THAT'S old-fashioned? Casually talking to her 16 year old - after she found her kissing a boy - about having sex, without any discussion of marriage, commitment, consequences of sex at a young age.... and all this in a movie you deem suitable for 7 year olds?! This is why I never trust ratings, anymore. The movie was done for us, at that moment. Very disappointing.

It wasn't really worth the time watching

I liked Valerie Berinelli and the son and youngest daughter. I also liked the grandparents. The rest of the characters seemed forced and just didn't seem that real. The story was too obvious, and therefore almost awkward watching it. It wasn't worth the time, and I found myself skipping parts. It also should not have been rated as 7+, as it wasn't good or interesting for kids.

Good plot, scenery and actors

Both stars did a good job with their roles. The children in this were very good also. The scenery was nice but of course this was not filmed in Alaska but around Vancouver. It is definitely worth watching as it is a well done romantic comedy with good actors and dialogue.

Feel good movie

I really like this movie, especially if I want to watch a feel good movie. It is a movie you can watch with your whole family. It's cute, funny, romantic, and not too corny. I like it so much I bought it on Prime video.

This movie needs more reviews and deserves all eyes it can get. A genuine and sweet family movie about 3 kids that take an interest in their parents lives and are thrilled to get them back together again. We find that with compromise, it CAN work out!

I never liked Bertinelli, now I do. It was one of the few Hallmark movies (ye, I watched a few) that felt right. I recommend. O, and Nordling was not bad at all. Enjoy.

Working Through the stuff

The story revolves around a divorced couple with children. It's a light hearted story about how people can work things out when all the non important roadblocks fall away, I would have taken a different approached with the mom - daughter talk, but I could see what the mom was doing. I really enjoyed this movie. No swearing, murdering or violence. Really a good movie!! OK, Hallmark :-)
