I am a horror film fanatic and my fiance recommended that we watch this. I initially didn't want to but I am so glad that I did! It is a great movie. Very good story and actors.

You have to pay for part 2

Part one is kinda lame. You have to pay again to finish the movie. This is stupid.

Don't waste your money, see only if Amazon puts it on Prime

I remember when this movie was on NBC, I hadn't gotten a chance to see it then. As with the multitude of shark related movies that have been thrown on the screen (post Jaws), I found this to be better than the nonsense ones usually shown on the SYFY Channel

This is essentially a B movie saved from the fireplace by good performances and the irascible wonderful Stan Winston.

This movie had almost nothing to do with the novel (other than a few coincidental names). You get the producer and/or writer scanned waiting for their flight and decided to film something they had barely a passing acquaintance of.
Movie: 2 out of 5 but with kudos to the talent who had to work their way through this nonsense. Less than a zero with a thumbs down to the Producer, script-writer, and the director. There are continuity issues you could drag an Atlas rocket through.
