I also don't like the flaps because they are on EVERY single page! It gets tedious turning pages and opening flaps. I don't think the story reading experience is as smooth as it should be with all of the flap opening. The flaps also don't all open the same way, so if you have kids 3 or younger, you will probably have flap tears and rips before long.
The story itself is just okay. It's much shorter than the average book in this series, and the plot isn't nearly as fun or attention grabbing. It does have a giant pink pumpkin though, so I guess it's not all that bad :-)
Long story short, this is a fun lift-the-flap book that has a positive and fun story with a happy ending, great artwork and is a great reading book for more advanced young readers. A great Pinkalicious book. Highly Recommended!
