Great Choice

Was skeptical about this DVD, even though I love Lucas Bryant. So happy I bought it anyway. It did not disappoint. Watching this movie left a big smile on my face! The story is well written, and such a sweet one too. I bought this after reading some of the comments. No cursing, nudity, or anything to offend anyone. I enjoy a good love story. In my opinion, this is one! I will be watching this more than once.

Lifetime movie with a little raunch
Verified purchase
A Lifetime movie, but with some sexual overtones. The girl is beautiful and smart, and is torn between a kind and loving musician, and a brilliant writer, both of whom are heads over heels for her. throw in a pair of perfect parents who are loving and accepting to make it all too perfect to be real. basically, plot is girl gets boy, girl gets baby, girl sends boy away, girl gets boy again, and toss in a little off and on second boy too. would have been better if these had been real people, but just too superficial to be real. overall, nice viewing if you have nothing else to do.

I bought this DVD because I became a HUGE Lucas Bryant fan after discovered the SyFy Channel's series HAVEN.

His character in this show is so different than Nathan in HAVEN. His character in this TVmovie starts as an artistic flake, but proves he has staying power. I also enjoyed the themes of "family's importance, and financial success does not a good person make."

Definitely buy if you like Lucas Bryant fan or would enjoy a uniquely written love story.

I thought I'd hate it.

I didn't read the blurb before watching the preview with the sound off. I didn't think I'd like the MC enough to finish the movie, but decided to give it a try for background noise. I LOVE when a movie surprises me like this one did. There was so much that was real and genuine about it. The emotion and turmoil that people experience in life and relationships was well represented. You get to learn with her, and there is no predictable ending. Bravo!

It is a lifetime movie

I bought this because I am a big fan of both Joanne Kelly (Warehouse 13) and Collin Ferguson (Eureka). The actors did not disappoint. I think Joanne Kelly did a particularly exceptional job. The story is cute and has a lot of potential. The script is just so - so. If I had not been such a big fan of the main actors already I might have a different opinion of the movie. It is really just the dialog that is lacking. It could have easily been a 5 star movie if more work had been put into the script. But I is certainly watchable. I think a lot of women will relate to it more than men.

Deadly script - bland characters
Verified purchase
If modern bed-hopping young adults is your milieu, this pix could be for you. But even then the script is bland and it's hard to sympathize with characters that bring trouble on themselves.

Loved this movie because it wasn't 100% predictable. Cute story line with some really great lessons about what is important.
