I have always enjoyed a good fairy tale-especially those that end in a “happily ever after.” Throughout high school and college, I spent my summers buried between the pages of a romance novel. I also enjoy a good mystery, Agatha Christie being my favorite. I’m an admitted television and film addict. I love my sleuths (from Miss Marple to Columbo to Monk). I’m a big fan of science fiction flicks and enjoy a good fright every now and again. Pitch Black was the most pleasant surprise I’ve had in years.

Let me start off by saying that I LOVE this author. She has a great imagination and comes up with some compelling stories, especially the mild sci fi books like this one. The heroine is not crazy (thank you so much for this alone!), and while the hero usually just gets off on the wrong foot, there is always plenty of HEAT while they work things out. Yum.

But I really want the author to find a good editor. She could easily up the word count on a book like this. She also tends to leave a lot of loose threads (e.g. what's up with the hero wanting to go by different names in his different moods? -another book seemed to imply that the hero was the product of an affair, but then just... nothing.) I implore you Ms. King: you could rival Zane but you gotta get someone to give you good feedback!

Possessed is a very good and sensual interracial supernatural romance novel that earned a rating of five stars. Keva is a channel for people with supernatural powers and she enjoyed helping people. She met Sebastian when he was over whelmed with his powers he was about to go super nova. Holding his hand did not so he used her body. They had a very strange relationship that turned into love. They had to overcome a lot of obstacles to find their happiness together. I enjoyed reading this book and would recommend it to everyone who enjoys reading very good and sensual romance novels.

Enjoyable read with hot smex scenes and likable & interesting characters including Keva and Sebastian a/k/a Bastian.
I like possessive and protective alpha heroes and so I liked Sebastian.

The only thing that bothered me was that Sebastian kept pushing Keva away. I want my heroes to always want the heroines
for keeps. Sebastian tried to fight his feelings for her claiming he was not good enough for her. So he went to her for smex & then left her, pushing her way. It was unnecessary and annoying and I felt indignant on her behalf. He kept hurting her when he did this and that is not ok.

This was a good read about Sebastian and Keva she was a channel. This is my first time reading a story about psychic and Channel but this was interesting. But his parents was something else and if I had a sister like she had I would of backhand her for being in my business. You had a little drama and lots of sex. Glad they got their HEA. Read the book

Okay. I generally like Thayer King. If the premise made you feel icky (like it did) me, you are still going to fell icky about how these two meet and hook up. You aren’t going to feel worse, but that is it. If you can look past that plot point, then I think you’re okay and you will enjoy the rest. Otherwise, give this one a psst.

This was my first book by this author but it definitely will not be my last! I love books that feature psychic abilities, and Thayer King presented these abilities in such a way I've not encountered before. I love the different 'aspects' of (Se)bastion manifesting. If there were any suggestions, I would have loved an insider's peek at Sebastian's integration process, and I would have loved to see a full manifestation of his abilities. I hope this is a world she continues to develop.

This was a really good short read, it was very different which intrigued me from the beginning. I loved the characters. I loved Sebastian's alpha male nature, just taking what he wanted which was Keva. Her family was a bit annoying especially her sister, I wish the author went into detail about what happened with Keva's old job. That would've made the book much more excited. Something about them linking Sebastian as the unidentifiable psychic, he gets captured but uses his powers to take down IOP. Just my opinion, all in all. Great read 😁
