Incredible crime thriller- a must watch
Verified purchase
Jeffrey Dean Morgan gives a heartfelt and gripping performance, playing a character who is quite a change from his iconic role we’ve grown so used to seeing on AMC’s The Walking Dead. And yet he still smashes this one out of the park. The pain and sincerity behind every line he delivered was heart wrenching, his desperation was palpable as the film progressed. In any given scene, I was able to feel exactly what Jacob was feeling through a simple expression from Jeffrey. A satisfying performance for any crime film or thriller fan. Despite the dark themes of the movie, the core heart of it is a fathers love driving him to do anything for the daughter he loves.

"Well Worth The Watch"
Verified purchase
This film was well worth the watch! Despite its length, it held my attention every minute, which is quite unusual. If you like a story with twists and turns (as well as a few surprises), you will probably enjoy this one. So, no spoilers here.

Filmmakers should be charged with murder
Verified purchase
This film butchers the serial killer genre, and not in a fresh, ironic or so-bad-I-love-it way. The filmmakers cut up their favorite serial killer films and stitched the pieces together into something vaguely resembling a thriller and as utterly lifeless as the corpses in the film itself. There was one resonant scene about half way through when the lead detective looks at a photo of his daughter's hands. The rest of it was random, forced, and cliched. I have no clue where all the glowing reviews came from.

Awesome Movie&definitely worth the price!

I bought this movie last night and I have already watched it twice! It actually had a plot and a purpose! I love serial killer movies but most of them are stupid and one big joke. This movie actually made you think and try to solve the case! I hope there is a part 2 or they come out with a similar movie-different case! You won't be let down with this movie! My family loved it!

Terriblely done movie

Keep your money or wait until this is free. The plot is interesting, although the scenes jump around and alot of context is lost and ideas are very undeveloped. This could have been way better or even a series. Its almost as if they ran out of money making the film and whipped it together hodge podge to make a deadline. If it was possible, I would request a refund bc it was just not good.

Chilling Thriller

I love me some Jeffrey Dean Morgan so I watched it. Decent film, not super cliche like most movies nowadays. Jeff's performance is strong, the emotion he portrays for his daughter is genuine like he channeled how he would feel if his own child had suffered such a fate. Famke Janssen's face was really terrifying and distracting. Plastic surgery has ruined her.

Interesting flick

We found this movie to be well acted & for the most part well written. Our biggest beef w/ it was it was so obvious that it was sorely edited. They briefly introduce a part that leads you to believe there's more to that, which is why we hacked a star from our rating. But none the less it is a good movie and we recommend it.

nothing new nothing special

has its moments- but there is very little if anything new here- it takes bits and pieces of other movies
you have seen before- but the parts of those movies do not make a better whole
