I don't normally write reviews but I had to for this book. We have been potty training my daughter for several months now. She is 2, almost 3. We always got as far as her not having accidents if she was commando or even for awhile if she just had a pull up on. But she regressed and if a pull up or underwear were on she would just go in it. We took a break but tried the underwear thing again after introducing this book several weeks ago. This book made it CLICK for her. Ever since seeing the pottysaurus with the pee in his underwear and on the floor and how sad it made him...she just gets it. When we remind her not to go pee in her underwear she often references the book and how she won't because the pee would go everywhere and that it made pottysaurus sad to get pee everywhere. I'm not saying this book potty trained her on it's own. But I am saying that this book connected the last dot for her and it has been an amazing transformation instantly. I bought it mainly because it was dinosaur related and she loves them but it turns out to have been the best book of our first potty training journey. Highly recommend!

We bought our daughter so many "potty training" books, but this is the one that clicked for her. The illustrations are very cute, she loves the baby dino. She will even "read" this to us, flipping through the pages and going, "oh no!" on the page where he has an accident, and "it's okay!" on the page where the mom is comforting him. She hasn't started using the potty herself yet, but this engaging book has definitely put the idea in her head.

Cute book. My 2 year old is walking around saying and identifying the potty. I think this could help him understand potty time with some guidance.

Edit to add: he has now started saying pee after he goes. It’s not before he goes but it is an improvement and I’m almost 100% sure it’s because of this book.
