The Pout-Pout Fish and the Can't-Sleep Blues (A Pout-Pout Fish Adventure) Kindle Edition
Mr. Fish can't fall asleep in this new jacketed hardcover addition to Deborah Diesen and Dan Hanna's New York Times–bestselling Pout-Pout Fish series.
One night in the ocean, the Pout-Pout Fish can't get to sleep! He's all ready for bed, but he just can't catch a snooze. When he asks his friends for advice, they're all sure they know what he should do—count sheep, use a pillow made of rocks, swim in circles—but nothing works. What to do when good advice isn't good for everyone? Little guppies will love The Pout-Pout Fish and the Can't-Sleep Blues, a bedtime story about learning from experience and doing what's best for you!

This "Can't Sleep Blues" immediately gives a negative impression. The rhythms are severely strained and do not roll off the tongue joyfully; in fact they are eminently trip-over-able. The illustrations, while full of clever devices, appear to have been phoned in via a dial-up modem.
I'm a disappointed Grannie with a disappointed face,
And I spread this sad review all over the place!
Pout Pouts have these wonderful lessons with a great word cadence (like dr. Seuss but with a larger vocabulary instead of the odd nonsense word). The pages are filled with things to look at (illustrations) and fun little things to discover in the pictures.
