About the Author
Artist Steve Dillon grew up drawing from an early age; the London native received his first professional assignment at age 16. His work for various UK publishers led to his being offered work on Vertigo's Hellblazer which paired him with writer Garth Ennis. They went on to create the award-winning Preacher. --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

I was distracted by the coming and going of Jesse' s eye. And I am somewhat upset that the Saint of Killers is in charge and I wonder what happened to Amy because she came through many times for all of them.
Herr Starr was a despicable villain; I was glad to see him suffer. It was good BIG ending and the best way to understand it is to keep reading it every so often, which I will do. I have neglected to praise the art which was top drawer excellent. So till next time Pilgrim, we can watch the cowboy, his horse and his dog ride into the sunset. It's a classic ending and not at all trite considering the journey.
Preacher isn’t a great comic, it’s a great story. Story’s have beginnings, middles and most importantly endings.

This final part brings the whole thing to a close resolving the stories of Jessie, or Tulip, of Cassidy, of the Grail and of the Saint. It's explosive, paced well and a brilliant read.
It's very different to the TV show and, for me, a lot better. I didn't initially take to book one many years ago but I can honestly say it developed into one of my favourites series of all time. A classic.
Great ending to a great series. As always brilliantly witten by Ennis & marvelous artork by Dillon & covers by Fabry...sorry to see such great characters go such as Cassidy.now just to figure out what series to read next...
