Pregnant by the Alien Healer (Warriors of the Lathar Book 3) Kindle Edition
Being kidnapped by aliens isn’t so bad, especially as it allows Jess to be close to a certain handsome healer. She thinks he’s more interested in his tests and her genetic code than in her as a woman, until a hot encounter proves just how wrong she was.
When Laarn is called away to the battlefield, she gets treatment from the automated systems in his lab. Button-mashing alien tech? Not a good idea. Now she’s pregnant without a sniff of between the sheets action. What’s worse, there’s a bunch of fanatics loose in the palace trying to kill her and her baby…
Duty or desire. He can’t have both...
Laarn’s scars mark his rank as the best healer in the empire, but Jessica, the beautiful human female who holds his interest, won’t even look at them. He wants her, but his duty lies in saving his people. Until everything changes. A lost strand of DNA in the human code, hidden in Jess’s genetic material, could mean a cure. She’s the key to the lathar’s future, and his own.
Between a pregnancy, mating marks and a fanatic out to kill the woman he loves, can Laarn remain detached enough to do his duty… or will he give into emotion and save his heart?

There is a 2* review that I read though I can agree with some of the points made (about kidnapping and rape), it's a story. It's fiction, meant to pull you in and this author at least for me does that. I'm able to loose myself in the story.
Marine, Jessica "Jess" Kallson has been drawn to Healer Larn K'Vass, since she first laid eyes on him when she was taken prisoner when the Lahar took over the base she was stationed. The only attention he pays her is when she is in his lab for testing. Every time she tries to move their relationship further, he shuts her down. Jess is not lacking in Lathar warrior attention, just the attention of the warrior she is interested in.
Laarn K'Vass in the highest ranked healer on Lathar, nephew to the Emperor, it is only a matter of time before he is made Lord Healer. When that happens he will be tied to Lathar. Jess Kallson is a distraction he does not want. If he was anyone else he would have already claimed her. He has taken his grandfathers advise to heart, and keeping his focus on his vocation.
Laarn finds in Jess's DNA what may be the key to saving his people. His uncle orders him to claim her and have a child. Jess just wants to go home. Her twin sister may be dying and she needs to be with her, only to be denied by the Emperor. Despite all the freedoms she has been given, she is still a prisoner of the Lathar.
When Jess is targeted by the Purist, Laarn can no longer deny who she is to him. He stakes his claim, only to be called away to war. Jess learns she is pregnant with Laarn's child. She doesn't know how. They hadn't made it past kissing before he was called away. The Purist want her and her baby dead.
Great story. Fast paced and steamy. Loved Laarn and Jess, felt bad for Saal, hope he finds a Earth girl that brings out his mating bands. Love Daaynal, see a little more of who he is through each book. Great series. Can't wait to meet the next couple.
I read these to enjoy a getaway into a silly fun sci-romance. This was another enjoyable and entertaining read in the Warriors of the Lathar series.
Jess and the Lord Healer Laarn where a great couple. Jess is the chaser while Laarn is the reluctant one, but once he falls he falls. I liked how this story played out with some quirky set of events; which find our Jess accidental implanted with Laarn’s child. The accident is believable, especially since Jess doesn’t understand the Lathar technology and the Lord Healer is gone and, so, things happen. It made me smile! These two dance around each other, but have had the hots for some time. Laarn is the reluctant one, but once he falls he falls.
The story takes the reader on an emotional rollercoaster ride that keeps you engaged, along with some great plot twists, and villains that are exciting and add little suspense and drama.
The one thing overlooked in this story is Jess’s twin sister and that dilemma, but I’ve read the full series that’s out to date and that issue plays out in a few other books; before it's resolved in Kissed by the Alien Mercenary, Book 12.
Pregnant by the Alien Healer I found to be a delightful read. Its a fun and sweet yet cheesy romance that kept me entertained.

Finding herself pregnant after tests both to understand the women's needs, while trying to find a cure for the Lathar's problems, plus a large problem with purists, nearly costing Jess her life and the challenge from another warrior who wants her for a mate. It's only after the risks are defeated does all ends well.

I think its because it didn't go straight into sex and moresex but had a real nice storyline.
NOTE TO AUTHOR
Not sure what age you are but thought you should know that in these modern times women CAN tell when they are only a week pregnant. Yep you can buy those tests right off the shelf.
