Sci-Fi Fun!
This show was created in 2007. The CGI for a TV show of that time (not only in detail, but also in prolificity, different creatures every episode) is, in a word, awesome!

Are there shortcomings? Sure. But the adventure is fun and with a conspiracy plot woven throughout, it keeps you interested in the main characters. Really, I'm not in it for the character development, but the excitement and adventure. Sci-fi candy if you will.

They do a really nice job with the story telling too though.

The various creatures do eat people, but the show isn't gory or overly sexualized.

I'm just looking for sci-fi entertainment and they carry a lot of my favorite elements here. Sure a little campy at times, but overall it keeps me coming back. I was never able to watch it when it was a new show, just bits and pieces here and there, so it is nice to finally connect the dots.

I think if you go in with not having expectations of The Last Jedi movie or something similar, you'll have fun just watching...and sometimes even being startled!

Enjoy!

Written, produced and acted by....Morons.
This sort of writing and production is what holds science fiction themed video back from mainstream appreciation. Although Perhaps it was intended for children under the age of 6? Hard to know, but it certainly seems like Saturday morning kiddie-fare.. The scripted scenarios lack even the most tenuous basis in science. The actors characters are (1) Very poor marksmen (2) generally inept and clumsy (3) incapable of quick thinking/decisive action (4) all appear to have IQ's under 60 (5) always seem to be a day late and a dollar short. Viewing this sort of content is excrutiatingly painful if one is looking for engaging, thought-provoking, entertaining adult fare.
If they had spent the money invested in CGI effects into hiring better writers this review would probably be different.
