She’s a spy.
He’s her target.
The day intelligence operative, Eija Barrett, stepped foot inside Interpol headquarters, she’s had one main objective—infiltrate and dismantle the largest sect of the Russian Mafia, run by the renowned Yuri Sokolov, based in Moscow.
Each attempt by the agency, so far, has failed.
But Eija then discovers that the mafia leader has been hiding something she can use to her advantage—a son who Yuri has kept secret since birth, and who is next in line to head the crime syndicate.
Eija knows if she can get to Dominik, she can get to Yuri and, as far as she’s concerned, there’s nothing that can stand in the way of that happening…
Only a handful of people know what Dominik Sokolov looks like, and even fewer know who he really is. However, as the mysterious Prince of the Brotherhood and the only son of mafia leader, Yuri Sokolov, it’s Dom’s birthright to lead the organization.
Dom is able to spend three months on the island of Grenada, off-the-grid and away from the family’s watchful eye, but when Yuri finds him there, he decides it’s time to head home. Before he leaves, he meets a beautiful woman whose name he learns by accident—Eija. He tells her his name is Andrei…not that it matters. Not that it will make a difference, to her, who he is.
After all, once they’ve had a few nights of fun on the island...the two of them will never see each other again.

There's so much that goes on in this book, surprise after shocker after what the heck. Dom and Eija meet at a resort, she's undercover CIA and so is he but neither of them know it about the other. She's on an op trying to find the Bratva prince and he's hiding away from his father, Yuri. Eija thinks she found and tagged the prince and decides to enjoy time with Dom at the resort while waiting for her next assignment. They get to know one another in the two weeks they share before Dom is pulled away by his father's men, not being able to wake up beside Eija since her safety is threatened by Yuri before they leave.
Fast forward 15 months and Eija and Dom are back in one another's sphere. He's returned as the lost prince and she realizes that the man she developed feelings for is the man she was looking for all along. Knowing his true identity and her orders to let the agency know when Eija officially identifies Dom, she stalls due not only to her feelings for him but also because he's the father of her daughter. A daughter she didn't get to tell him about. When Dom and Eija meet back up in his father's household, she's the nanny to Nickolai, a little boy who's the son of one of the Bratva members Pavel. Pavel is also undercover working against the Bratva because they killed his family. Just layers upon layers.
With Eija and us the readers, not knowing about Dom's status in the CIA, I couldn't help but despair while reading once Dom and Eija reconnect. They were on opposite sides of the equation with no way to come together, especially since Dom would be arrested and tortured once they had him in custody. Eija resisted intimacy with Dom until she couldn't stop herself and he wooed her until she was open again.
Some things I thought were not believable, that Yuri wasn't more suspicious was one thing. She's in Granada then shows up to be the nanny is too much coincidence. Particularly given it's revealed that Yuri is a former agent himself who defected and stayed with the Bratva. That Eija was having phone calls with her fellow operatives in her rooms not expecting to be recorded by Yuri. The contradictions Yuri presented, on the one hand encouraging Dom to get Eija out of his system and to finding a wife from among the mafia families, to keeping Dom busy so he Dom couldn't spend time with Eija.
Great read overall though.
Excuse the writing but I can’t see what I’m typing because its hidden for some reason I’ll have to get advise on how to handle the technical errors. Sorry

I liked all the characters and the storyline, there wasn't a moment that was boring to read in this book. The twist towards the end was unexpected and well thought out.
I'd like to read more about these two, not sure on the story plot but it's a nice to have.
Brilliant story well worth the read.!!
I really enjoyed twists and turns in reading this book and the story was engrossing and not at all predictable.
The chemistry between the 2 characters was tangible.
