Confused Review

This show has horrible acting, bad dialog, editing of a 3 year old child but I could not stop watching it. The worst part of all...? I like it.

Truly Innovative and Entertaining
Verified purchase
This is like many truly innovative movies or television series most of the audience simply doesn't get it. Sometimes movies and television series like this get recognized at a later date and turn into art films. A truly quirky and entertaining series - I would love to see a season two. Part of the enjoyment is the so-called "amateur" approach as if someone was filming the actual events themselves, almost like a reality show. It also illustrates how strange life can be: one's life can take twists and turns and one can end up in the most bizarre circumstances. Also an opportunity to enter a side of life from the inside that most people never get to see and cannot relate to.

Student film director?

This show is pretty underwhelming, I couldn't even make it past 20 mins into the first episode. The dialog is very bland and there is zero chemistry with the talent. The dialog was very back and forth with little feeling, the acting was very dry. The only redeeming quality of this show is the fact that they don't treat you like an ignorant audience. I do appreciate that it starts off with him spreading his father's ashes so can get an idea of where he is at, why his sister has randomly shown up without saying "hey my dad died! Now this stuff is going to happen!"

Acting is not the best. But very different story line from the usual

Acting is not the best. But very different story line from the usual. Good off the beaten path show about the underbelly of our society while being entertaining. I would watch just to see how the story evolves

LIked the series

Its an interesting story line Someone with no real life experience, just got out of Yale gets a job driving for call girls. It seems that each episode is giving information to develop the characters. Sorry that it is only 6 episodes Think that it could really turn into something very good. You know that his parents had a shade past, were wealthy and were murdered, He is already changing his look Would like to see 15 episodes. Remembering a few great shows that started slow and really bloomed

Liked it quite well.
Stopping after 6 episodes is cruel because I wanted more.
I like the fresh faces and low budget approach.
Can't wait for season 2 for some more closure.

There is more to this story.....

What a surprise and quirky show! What fun this series was thus far. Even the music was quirky. Listen up Amazon there must be a season 2. There has to be. We must know what line if wirk the parents worked in or who the clientele were. This is a great Sunday evening show. Great investment.

it's pretty bad, but I still watched all the episodes

Yes, it's pretty bad, but I still watched all the episodes. At times the whole thing seems like a film school student project. Bad acting, poor production and filming. Super bad and disjointed writing. It will leave you scratching your head trying to figure out where it all was going. It ends in a cliff hanger that will probably never be resolved. If you're bored and can't find anything else to watch, you may start watching and get hooked by it too.
