Project Paradise (Spice Up Our Marriage Book 1) Kindle Edition
If we build it...will they come?
Valley Archer knows she's different than the other moms in her neighborhood. She doesn't enjoy baking, never goes to Starbucks, and wouldn't be caught dead in yoga pants.
So what does Valley like? Give you one guess...
Her poor husband David is having a hard time keeping up (pardon the pun).
If she gets her way, they'll soon be turning their home into a swinger paradise. And she couldn't care less what the neighbors think.
Welcome to the Spice Up Our Marriage series. These heroines are strong, snarky and seductively curvy plus-sized ladies, who, along with their sexy husbands, are looking to bring back the spark, more sizzling than ever. Hope you can handle the heat!
Authors Note: Project Paradise was previously part of The Juniper Court series. The content has not changed. It is intended for mature audiences.
"If you don't take a cold shower or use the detachable shower head after reading this then you might need to see a doctor! I haven't read a book so quickly in a long time. Once I started I couldn't stop!" ~Read.Review.Repeat Book Blog
"Ever wanted to dip your toes in the hot tub of a swinger lifestyle? Then this is YOUR book." ~ Amazon Reviewer
"I was hooked from the very first chapter... before I even finished the chapter! If I had not had plans with my family, I would not have put it down for even 5 minutes!" ~The Curious Chapter Book Blog
"Phoebe Alexander is just a really entertaining author because of her gift with words! But if you enjoy a hot, romantic read you will love this book!" ~Amazon Reviewer
"I really appreciate how she doesn't take the easy route with her stories by taking a popular, well-tried formula and churning out a 'fluffy' story- instead Ms. Alexander gives us unexpected, thought provoking, interesting, and entirely addictive tales that star quirky, everyday people that win us over with their unique, yet entirely realistic and believable stories. And this book is a shining example of this. It's a real credit to Ms. Alexander." ~Amazon Reviewer
"I have read a few of Phoebe Alexander's book before and know she is talented but I wasn't quite expecting it to be quite so hot! And I mean freaking HOT!! I literally could not take my eyes away from the screen of my kindle whilst I was reading it." ~Amazon Reviewer

Valley Archer is a character that you can easily relate to. Her family has just moved to Sunview and Valley is having trouble making friends and fitting in. Her husband David, an architect, quickly made a name for himself in the community when he was hired for a new theatre project. While David trys to get Valley to make friends, she has no interest in the typical "Soccer Mom" status. Instead Valley has other interests and ideas in mind.
You will have to read Project Paradise to find out what Valley and David's new project is! This book will hook you from the beginning and leave you with a fabulous book hangover while waiting for the next one in the series. I love the residents of Juniper Court and cait wait to see the rest of the stories!
An emotional and sensual ride!
Very interesting to read about a couple learning about and experimenting with the [taboo] world of Swinging.
The thrill, complications, the need to satisfy sexuality and those desires, the disappointments, the heartbreak of being slut-shamed...
How awesome that Valley's husband was supportive and right on board with his wife. (Not sure my own husband would be so understanding - LOL)
A bumpy ride with lots of ups and downs (I do feel like asking the author for a refund for the manicure I need from chewing my nails at some of the more steamy encounters as well as the (**spoiler**) BIG DEVASTATION that occurs! - But I guess chewed nails are the unexpected cost of a wonderfully written book!
You know an author has done her job when you feel every emotion the characters in a book feel.
Can't wait to see what else happens on Juniper Court!
Great kick off to this unique series.
David is an Architect and where Valley couldn’t care less what anyone thinks of her, David has to maintain discretion. When Valley suggests they start swinging, David agrees and they immediately set up an account on a website to find other couples. What ensues is funny, hot and sad as they figure out their new lifestyle. This book was a good read that I couldn’t put down and I think you will enjoy it!
Meet Valley and David, one horny wife and a very accommodating husband as they meander their way learning the ‘ins and outs’ of swinging. There’s laughs, erotica, and a divine HEA.
Juniper Court is one hotbed of a cul-de-sac, I can’t wait to meet ALL the neighbors!
I like how the author has the characters go through the real-life struggles people have when they are first starting out in the lifestyle. It can definitely be challenging. I could definitely feel Valley’s frustration at all of the bad timing and unreliable people. It was also relevant that the author chose to illustrate the fallout from the community when people don’t understand your lifestyle. Then again, sometimes you find allies in the strangest places. I was interested to see how that whole scenario was going to play out in the book.
There was nothing about this book I didn’t like…Superb characters, excellent story line and steamy scenes without being overdone, unconventional love. I am very much looking forward to reading the rest of the Juniper Court series.

This story seems okay, but the fact that David just decides to spend thousands of dollars when he buys a spa without really consulting her. First, they don’t have money for babysitters, but then he goes to spend thousands of dollars based on a very brief discussion they had on this? Ummm... Nope.
This is a cute short story about a couple who are just trying to find another couple to swing with, which seems to be quite challenging for them (with some job complications, too).
After the hot tub, seems like the story seemed to be unbelievable. Still, it was nice to read, especially how Valley just seemed to have a lot of self-confidence.
Project Paradise by Phoebe Alexander is a novel in the Juniper Court series. ‘Juniper Court’ is a series of standalones all set in the same street. There are seven stories and seven talented authors. Each book is individual and unique to its author, and this one is set at 6 Juniper Court and comes to us from the very talented Ms. Alexander.
I am quite familiar with Ms. Alexander’s work, as I have read all of the books she has written. I really appreciate how she doesn’t take the easy route with her stories by taking a popular, well-tried formula and churning out a ‘fluffy’ story- instead Ms. Alexander gives us unexpected, thought provoking, interesting, and entirely addictive tales that star quirky, everyday people that win us over with their unique, yet entirely realistic and believable stories. And this book is a shining example of this. It’s a real credit to Ms. Alexander.
Valley Archer isn’t our everyday romance heroine, she’s a very busy mother of two who refuses to conform to societal expectation and remains true to herself. She’s strong and unashamed of who she is and the choices she makes. But she’s having trouble settling into this new neighbourhood and finding common ground with the other women. After a discussion with her husband David, Valley begins exploring ‘swinging’ and everything it entails. She has always been highly sexed, and this is something that has always held a fascination for her. This is where the story takes off as we follow their ‘adventure’. But things don’t always go according to plan and the fact that things don’t run so smoothly adds an extra element of realism, as well as extra depth to this wonderful story.
I really think that this is a book that is better off diving into blind, without any preconceived ideas or expectations. Let Ms. Alexander weave her magic and surprise you with her incredible storytelling ability. It’s a book you won’t soon forget!
Thank you, Ms. Alexander!
The problem is she doesn't like normal mom stuff or get along with most moms. What does she like? Sex, and lots of it.
Follow their story as they explore their new neighbourhood and town, in more ways than one!
Sensual in the right places, engaging, challenging, and quite realistic. Ms. Alexander does an amazing job of encouraging us to care about the characters, flaws and all, as usual. I couldn't put the book down!
