An ex-soldier of the British Army. Joined as a volunteer in the early sixties just as conscription ended and the last postings of the era were coming to an end. This author was involved in the adventures and the incidents outlined in this biography. From the beginning of his service in the British Army it would seem he wasn’t cut out for a military life, but he wasn’t the only one with a ‘record’ who managed to eventually reach a higher rank, there was plenty of competition from others, believe me! In those days…it WAS different, we were young, naïve and very stupid at times….judge for yourself. And enjoy this tale.

This collection has nothing to do with the Bible or God and "Bible" was a terrible choice of words because each of the collections in this book has nothing to do with God or the Bible. In fact, the majority of the collections (all previously released and no longer covered by copyright restrictions), all focus on how the power of positive thinking and influence will have a profound positive effect on your life.

The book will function as a road map to a more fulfilling life for you and in that regard, it can be regarded as a Bible, such as is the actual Bible that serves as a guide for living a happier and more fulfilling life. This "Bible" does the same but without stories of how God does that for you. (although there might be some writings that mention God, God is not the theme for this book.)

I'm looking forward to seeing the changes this book can help me make. It's crammed full of the work of some of the greats. I ordered some books and a roll of contact paper. The box was big to accommodate the length of the roll, but it could've used more air pouches. The box was so beat up that the people who keep my mail were worried that my order might be missing something that they'd be blamed for. My copy of the book has damaged pages. It's not worth sending back, but I really enjoy the new book feel (that I paid for) before I damage it myself carrying it with me everywhere and I didn't have that experience.
