To Protect His Own by Jen Talty is a fantastic read. Ms Talty has gifted us with a well-written book and loaded it with phenomenal characters. Kenzie and Jake's story is loaded with suspense, drama, action, humor and spice. This book has it all. I totally enjoyed reading To Protect His Own and look forward to reading more from Jen Talty in the future. To Protect His Own is book 5 of the New York State Trooper Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.

This a great addition to an enjoyable series. This book combined a second chance romance with danger, suspense and intertwined with lies and deceit. Kenzie and Jake are great characters and interact well while trying to figure out their future and keep alive. I totally enjoyed this book and look forward to the next in this series which I have already pre-ordered. I purchased this book and read an advanced readers copy also and am volunteering my honest opinion.

Law officers, family, and romance

Following the growth of the characters in this story was interesting. The story has plenty of drama and intrigue for the troopers to investigate. I probably would give it five stars, but the teacher in me wants to edit it for sentence structure.

A really good story. Full of twists, turns, heartache, second chances, redemption and love. It's a story about understanding what is truly important in life.

This was a great book. Loved the characters and their interaction. Will be looking into the others in the series, now. Can't wait to read them as well as the next one.

Really,Really good read.Lots and lots of action.I never guessed who the bad guy was and when I thought I had it figured out I was wrong.

I received this free e-book from Amazon and I am voluntarily writing an honest review. The story line was okay and would have been much better if anyone would have proof read this and corrected the misspelled words or the sentences that did not make sense and there was a lot of that going on.
