I personally liked Pure Country best of all. I watch it at least four times a year.

A Real Feel Good Movie

I absolutely LOVED this movie. Maybe it was because I read the reviews and didn't go into it expecting it to be a continuation of the original Pure Country. Katrina Elam as Bobbie Thomas was a very likable character and she had an amazing voice. Is this an Oscar winning movie? Of course not but it was just the kind of movie I want to watch when I need something that is going to make me feel good. If you like Hallmark movies, give this one a shot - you won't be disappointed.

almost as cheesy as the first!

I must start by saying I'm a huge fan of Pure County. The acting is mediocre at best, but somehow the music and storyline make up for it (in my humble opinion).

Pure County 2 is much improved in casting (George Strait excluded) and features a predictable plot with the same traditional values as the original. I could certainly do without the goofy angels, though I suppose they add to the family appeal. Overall a great movie with great music for the whole family to enjoy. No violence, foul language, or sex scenes to worry about sensoring.

Recommend for family viewing. Got this as a gift for my dad as he enjoys "safe" movies like this. Also purchased a copy for myself as I think my daughters will enjoy it someday and it sends a good message:)

I loved you the story line! Wasn't sure what expect, but it was great. It teaches a valuable lesson that we all should be mindful of.
