I absolutely LOVE this author! This series keeps me turning pages and as soon as I finish a book, I instantly buy the next one. I only have one problem that follows from one book to the next and literally pulls me out of the story. I grew up a block from the Sound and absolutely no one calls it the Puget!! It can be called the Puget Sound but is usually only referred to as the Sound. I know it’s petty but truly drives me nuts. However, not nuts enough to keep me reading the series. I love a mystery that keeps me guessing as to who the murderer is and I’ve never yet figured it out until the main character, Stevie, has it wrapped up. If you enjoy cozy mysteries you can’t go wrong with this series. Now I’m on to book 4!

I looove this series!! This is the second book in the series which is a spin off from the Paris Texas series. Dakota continues to weave a multi level tale involving not only the life and exploits of her main character, but also the tale of murder and the ongoing saga of the town. The characters are extremely entertaining and her writing transports you right in to the action. I can't wait to read the next book.

I can't believe that I've never read any of Dakota Cassidy's books until recently. The woman is brilliant, the plots are well written, and the characters are three-dimensional, quirky, and charming. The twists at the end are amazing. I can't say enough good things about this book and it's predecessor, they kept me engrossed for hours at a time. I highly recommend this book to anyone who likes a murder mystery with humor, pathos, a spunky heroine, her ghostly British pal, and her adorable cotton ball bat familiar, Belfry. I am addicted so will buy and consume the next book in the series post haste. I will not rest until I've read everything Dakota Cassidy has ever written!

I'm not very good at book reviews as I don't like regurgitating the plot, nor do I like giving away spoilers, but if you're a fan of paranormal stories than this is a must read!

I'm a huge fan of Dakota Cassidy and I absolutely love her humor. This a funny, well-written book and book 2 in the Witchless in Seattle Series. I definitely recommend reading the first book before you read this one and you'll fall in love with the characters. As I said, I'm not a fan of spoilers so I'll just say that I'm dying for the third book to come out!
