Blog postFor something a little different, I’m actually making effort to force myself to have fun reading, etc, etc. So, I’m going to share my reading list with you.
I will put a * beside the books I’ve read and loved and have included in the lists so I know I’ll have SOMETHING I’ll love during the month. The Something New category was, admittedly, all books I found on Amazon that were being given away by the author. One is a reverse harem, and I will list it as (RH) next to it. Blog postI already gave you a tasty treat of a teaser from my contribution to Dirty Deeds 2, but to start your weekend with some fun… the starters to the other stories in the set. (Spoiler alert: they’re all good and fun!!)
From Putting the Chic in Psychic by Diana Pharaoh Francis: I couldn’t deny I was having a damned good start to the day. My fake mother—aka Aunty Mommy—remained dead and had thus far been unable to rise from the grave and haunt me; my savagely vandalized business was under r2 weeks ago Read more -

Blog postHey, folks! We’ve made it! It’s finally here! The next installment of the Magical Romantic Comedy series (a short novel skirting novel territory, because I was bad and the book turned out longer than the novella planned for…) is here! Hooray! My contribution to the Dirty Deeds 2 anthology is entitled 101 Ways to Die, and it takes place shortly after the events of Plaidypus. Here is a snippet for your enjoyment!

Blog postYou can grab a copy now over at Amazon. Other vendors are coming soon with the same discount. (At last check, they hadn’t processed the sale yet, but it should be within the next 24-48 hours, roughly.)
Also, on June 10, Playing with Fire (book 1 in series) will be discounted on Amazon.com only as a Kindle Daily Deal, so keep your eyes peeled for that.
Happy reading, y’all.

Blog postShipping rates: $3.50 per book to the US. $20-something per book to Canada. $20-Something per book to the Netherlands. $20-something per book to the UK. This is how much it currently costs to ship, and these are the countries I was able to get solidified shipping prices for. (I am not eating the shipping costs on this, sorry.)
If the shipping rates haven’t scared you off yet… the trade paperback ‘preorder’ store is now available over at backerkit. Books are $25 per just like in the ki4 weeks ago Read more -

Blog postI phoned a friend. The friend was google and FAQs. Google and the FAQs guided me to the appropriate place to figure out additional shipping profiles. The USPS helped me with pricing for shipping.
So drop cards will be a thing.
Currently, there are drop cards for witch & wolf, mag rom com world, royal states, and bernadette franklin.
Leave a comment if you would be interested in a drop card for Vigilante Magical Librarians or the Fox Witch World books (x2 books per4 weeks ago Read more -
Blog postI am not doing drop cards as add-ons for the kickstarter. The shipping issues are difficult enough. I will likely wait until all dropcards have been claimed (they are one use codes) before removing the original ebooks associated with the dropcards and distributing the leftover cards with random giveaways / crossing out the codes. (Or distributing them with random letters I send out.)
The books are problematic enough with the kickstarter. Something had to give, and figuring out who can1 month ago Read more -

Blog postHere is the definitive list in the order I will be working on the books x3 times per week (x2 times per week will be dedicated to play projects or whatever I want to work on.)
If the book you are looking on is not on this list, it is either in the “play project” category, which has no set order or it is scheduled to be a continuation only after this list is completed in its set order. Basically, don’t ask about it because I’ll just tell you “When I get there???” I don’t know. This is1 month ago Read more -
Blog postUnlike 101 Ways to Die, which is coming out in the Dirty Deeds 2 anthology next week, Doggone Mess was only the first completed arc of a much longer story. Think of it as a book one in what will become a longer-than-normal Magical Romantic Comedy (with a body count.)
At current estimate, I will be adding an entire novel worth of new material. (I was not going to charge $6.99 for what was released in Dirty Deeds 1. I’m mad, but I’m not that mad.)

In this collection of all-new urban fantasy and paranormal stories, the gloves are off and simply surviving might just be the dirtiest, most difficult deed of all.
She’s not sure if they want her or her brother, but she doesn’t want to find out.
Nadine knows one thing for certain: her backwater town is too small for everybody coming to pay her family of two a visit. Maybe she doesn’t have a male platypus’s venomous spurs, but she’s ready to put up a fight to protect her brother, and not even the sexy plaid-clad stranger strutting his stuff is going to lure her away from home.
Assuming she’ll be given a choice in the matter is only the first of her mistakes.
Warning: this novel contains the mythical plaidypus and other deadly puns, romance, bodies, a minimum of two Canadians, and a mandatory magical adventure to Australia.
Proceed with caution.
Plaidypus can be read as a standalone.
Catering to the magical is a tough gig on a good day, but Bailey has few other options. Spiking drinks with pixie dust keeps the locals happy and beats cleaning up the world’s nastiest magical substances. She could live without serving Police Chief Samuel Quinn most days of the week, especially after destroying his marriage.
But when she’s targeted with a cell phone bomb containing gorgon dust capable of transforming her home into a stone tomb, she’s tossed head first into a mess with her sexiest enemy. Add in his ex-wife angling for revenge, and Bailey must use every trick up her sleeve to survive.
The last thing she needs is to fall in love with Manhattan’s Most Wanted Bachelor.
Saving Manhattan will be tough enough.
Recruiting Tiffany “Perkette” Perkins to be her partner-in-crime isn’t the best idea, but nothing says fun quite like a road trip, and Perkette the Misdemeanor Collecting Queen could teach the devil a thing or two about having a good time. Add in a string of rabies cases, more puppies than she can count (or readily adopt,) a job promotion, and her very own incubus in disguise on the hunt for her, and Bailey’s in for one hell of a ride.
Warning: this novel contains excessive humor, a unicorn on a napalm bender, Quinn on the hunt, and more shenanigans than you can shake a stick at. Proceed with caution.

If he wants to return to a normal life, he’ll have to face off against a sex trafficking ring targeting the woman of his dreams, ancient vampires, murderous criminals, his parents, and an FBI agent with a hidden agenda. Some days, it isn’t easy being an ex-cop.

Fetching a cat out of a tree should’ve been a quick, easy fifty bucks in Kanika’s pocket. Instead, following one stray thought, the devil pays her a visit and leaves her with a debt to repay.
Owing the devil a favor is bad enough, but her life is turned upside down when it’s time to pay the piper. First, she doesn’t want the world’s sexiest firefighting, kitten-rescuing Scot as an unwilling companion. Since that wasn’t bad enough, she doesn’t know who wants him dead or why, but there’s no way in hell she’s going to let someone mar his perfection.
Add in the fact the devil wants an heir, and there’s only one thing she knows for certain: she’s in for one hell of a job.
The last thing Reed Matthews needs in his life is a kitten, but when an orphaned tabby suckers him into becoming her caretaker, he's in for the ride of his life. Add in an angel determined to meddle in his affairs, a devil with an agenda, and a bucketful of bad omens, and he'll count himself fortunate if he survives the clash between heaven, hell, and his ex.
In this anything goes romp, there's no kitten around: if Reed wants to survive and regain control of his life, his only hope lies in the hands of an elf and his ex, a woman he's sworn to never see again.
A corrupt police chief is on the loose, and it falls to Bailey and Quinn to put an end to him before he finds some way to weaponize the spreading rabies virus, create yet another batch of potent gorgon dust, and otherwise wreck Bailey’s happily ever after.
With a pair of orphaned gorgon whelps to care for, more animals she can shake a stick at, and her husband’s determination to make the world a perfect place for her, Bailey has her hands full. To protect everyone she loves, she must embrace her dubious role as the Calamity Queen and rain hell down on those who stand in her way.
The Flame Game is on.

Why would anyone put a mermaid and a gorgon in the same room together? While Tulip enjoys being alive, her lineage brings her nothing but trouble.
Snakes eat fish, and the mer love tearing apart their serpentine nemeses with their hands and teeth. As for the gorgons… she’d rather not think about them at all.
The last thing Tulip wants is to rule the mer kingdom. First, she can barely swim. Second, she’s packing more than her fair share of her father’s genes. Third, what is a landlocked princess supposed to do with an aquatic kingdom?
If she gets her way, nothing. Add in her dirty little serial killing secret, and she’s an international disaster waiting to happen.
There’s just one small problem: her father’s bodyguard tempts her in ways no one should, and if she isn’t careful, he’ll uncover her secrets, domesticate her, and infect her with a severe case of normality.
Finding a puppy for her son, dodging the unwanted attention of her divine fling of an ex, and keeping on top of a holiday charity drive for local pet shelters sure is complicated when prone to transforming into a twelve-inch lizard with a severe allergy to snowbanks.
Since blending in has gotten her nowhere fast, she’s going to have to pull out all the stops to get what she wants, even if it lands her on Santa’s naughty list.
Warning: this holiday story contains excessive humor, action, excitement, adventure, magic, romance, and bodies. Proceed with caution.
If she wants to perform a miracle, she’ll need to join forces with a divine, but the man upstairs and his angels refuse to help.
None of the other so-called benevolent divines are willing to help her, either.
Running out of time and options, Darlene prepares to storm the gates of hell for her brother.
She never expected to fall in love with the Devil.
Warning: this novel contains a woman with a chip on her shoulder, humor, and one hell of a hero. Proceed with caution.
