Susan York lives on the East Coast of England with her husband and two cats: Pippin, who has trained his owners well and kitten Rosa who is learning fast.

Four of Susan's short stories have been published by Midnight Street Press. The Little Lighter Girl appears in Night Light (2018); Taking Flight is in Hellfire Crossroads 7 – Introducing (2019); Gaia’s Breath can be found in Strange Days (2020); Where The Train Stops has just been published in Railroad Tales (July 2021). Each anthology was edited by Trevor Denyer.

In May of 2021, Happy Birthday was published in The BFH Book of Horror Stories Vol. 5 and Justica features in an online digital magazine at Additionally, two of Susan’s poems, Papa Said and My Friend is Like Honey are being re-published by the British Fantasy Society, possibly in the June 2021 edition of Horizons. Both previously appeared, along with five other poems, in Organic Ink Volume 2 (2019) from Dragon Soul Press.
