I want to start off by saying I loved this kettle so much at first because it is true to the description in regards to performance and safety. However as adorable as it was, the matte finish has held up terribly with normal daily use. I’ve had it less than 2 months and no longer keep it out because of all the scratches on it making it look like it’s years old. Very dissatisfied because to me this was a splurge based on looks alone and I don’t even want to leave it out. I could have paid half or almost half and got the same features on another kettle. I am not at all rough with my stuff and this is a result of normal use. I just can’t imagine what it will look like a couple more months.

We have now ordered two of these.
The first one we ordered arrived very very poorly packaged (both in the product box and in the Amazon box) scratches all over the entire kettle, the bottom plate was cracked AND the kettle would not turn on to heat at all.
We decided to give it one more try in hopes the first one was a fluke. The second one came. It was packaged much better and in better condition. However the plastic window for measuring is upside down. The coating on the outside is very very poor quality, just taking it out of the box scratches it. It feels kind of like a chalk board. This one did turn on, but it rumbled and shook like rocket while heating up and took its sweet time to do so.
For the cost, this kettle is so not worth it.
