The Rain

The Rain revolves around five characters and the intimate encounters among them. Pontus Lidberg crafts subtle narratives through a series of tableaux linked together through patterns, movement, and the ever-present rain that touches them all.

A must see for fans of dance

This is a unique experimental short film that demonstrates the power of dance. The incredible, expressive choreography by all of the dancers makes it look effortless and helps convey a story. It is amazing how much can be expressed through dance without words. It took a few minutes to get used to the concept of the film. I loved the sequences to the song, Both Sides Now, and the last dance sequence with Alicia Vikander. It was interesting to see the talent of Alicia Vikander as one of the dancers in what must have be one of her first films.

This has to be seen in HD and a must have for any digital library.
This movie is like nothing I have ever seen before.
The energy, the chemistry, the characters and sound track are 2nd to none.

I cant wait to show this movie to my girlfriend.

I watch this when I'm feeling blue. I was distressed to find it was no longer on Vimeo but am glad it is here. I often go straight to minute 22 and watch the great Alicia Vikander. She and her partner are wonderful together.

There are too many plot holes...
I haven't been keeping track, but two holes are this:

1. Transmitting a virus via rain isn't viable.

2. In this movie, the virus is transmitted via rain. Rain isn't safe, nor are bodies of water, yet distilling water is safe? If rain isn't safe, then distilling water isn't safe. It's the same process!
