I don’t care about single family. Bigger pockets is great but they need to get over the BRRRR and help
If you are looking to learn more about raising private capital, this book absolutely gives you the foundational elements to get started.
Probably one of the most impactful concepts he shares in his book is to ask those who like and trust you to become financial partners in your real estate deals. Although this seems relatively intuitive, I struggled with the limiting belief that my close friends and family would not understand, nor support, my desires to grow my real estate business. However, I have since engaged various people in my inner circle to consider investing in my deals and I've been met with positive responses! Through the insights in this book, I feel more empowered to begin raising capital and I plan to use this strategy to scale my real estate business. Thanks for all the help Matt and I look forward to your future books!
The author does a great job of really outlining what it takes and how important it is to treat other people’s money. Raising money is not a joke! The author knows this and is careful to outline what you must be ready to do should you take on investors capital.

I’d consider myself an experience investor with approx £3m of deals under my belt. But even still, this book did not fail to deliver - there are so many golden nuggets throughout from start to finish.
For me personally, I found that I creatively think of a number of strategies to approach property investment, many of which were small ideas I never spoke of that manifested in my mind. And then BOOM, I would read a whole paragraph on that exact subject, which told you the exact strategy, what’s involved and how you can benefit from it. This happen AT LEAST 10 times throughout the book. And because of that it lead me to say the word ‘wow’ more times than I care to remember. This book brought those ideas in my head, into reality. Such as;
1. Equity structure
2. How to fund any ‘money left in’ (DELTA)
This is an outstanding book even for me, so I can imagine a new starter would likely benefit even further. 5 stars.
