Wow. You again nailed it AC. The characters, the story, the shocking revelations. Honestly it was so hard to put down the books every night. I’m so glad you have another project coming out soon and i was so happy to support it. I am so bummed this series came to an end. I’d love to catch up with everyone maybe like 10 years down the road. Same with Ben Ashwood. You seriously have an amazing talent and i can’t wait for what lies ahead. If you haven’t read this series by AC or any of them. You are missing out. There is no doubt about that. Jump in and enjoy.

Cobble has improved immensely as an author since his first two series of books. He shows a lot of maturity in his choices to include or leave out certain details but doesn’t shy away from exposing the costs of war and violence.
I really am not interested in leaving the world that Cobble has created in this series (yes, it’s that good), but I’m intrigued to see what comes next.

I really enjoyed this series of books. It’s full of interesting characters that you can really develop an affinity for. Cobble manages to build some interesting moral dilemmas into the story lines and isn’t afraid to to reveal a dark side to his characters. The whole series is a great read even if the climax is a bit predictable because of the clues threaded throughout the books.
To be fair this is something that is common in the fantasy genre, especially when you read as many as I do. That said, I enjoyed the series enough to immediately buy another of the authors series of books.
