This book concludes Falon’s story (the Shadowed Wing Series), and ends with a setup book-hook for the subsequent series. There is a small crossover with the team from the first series (started in The Lost and the Chosen).

It’s time for Falon to try and break the vow that controls the Avowed, but first she has to deal with warring mates, and hostility within the other groups out there.
Can she and Pigeon manage?

Told from Falon’s point of view, we find her at odds with her mates; Zeph, Ryn, and Treno.
The romance heats up a little though, ending up with a top spiciness rating of 5/5 peppers (a little kink).
Because there is a LOT of action this time, the humour level is a little less- we have such serious situations. That means lots of fighting, epic battles, and some fast paced storytelling.
That being said, there is humour present, and the scene stealing star of the book happens to be one Gryphon, the amazing Pigeon!

Lots of questions have already been answered, situations get resolved, new questions spring up, and a few residual questions get answered. It makes for an exciting end to this story arc.

An enthralling ending for contemporary fantasy fans.

I started this series off not know how it tied into the Sentinel Series and now it all ties in perfectly.

Fallon wakes up after having her throat slit and she finds that she doesn’t have any harmony or trust with her mates. She tries to make it work in order to break the bow but those alpha holes are making it hard.

I really liked how all three men got a good arc back to Fallon and they all had things that they had to go through and they all found their own path back to her. No spoilers here so read the book and find out how they had to grovel and work for it.

Pigeon is a hoot. I really enjoyed how Fallon and Pigeon had worked on their relationship together and they found each other. They will never be one but they now trust each other and work together. You don’t really get that in other shifter books.

Is there a sentinel World Series 3? Cause now I need to get into it.

I really enjoyed this series. For me it's even better than series 1. I prefer a trilogy to a quadrilogy.
This series had action,adventure, passion, betrayal and a great storyline.
The characters were well written and their motivations easily understandable. I liked that the protagonist didn't forgive her mates straight away, she made them work for it. This was very much in keeping with her character.
This author just gets better with each book 👍🏾

I love Falon and Pidge, their relationship growth is a beauty to watch. The guys, well, I want to bash their heads together! Falon did annoy me slightly with her stubbornness in this book, but the beauty of this writing is to invoke all the feels. And boy did I feel! I can't wait to read more in this world, I feel like I'm on a journey with them.
