I adore books like Hunger Games and Divergent, modern day settings with magic and superhero's who are just learning about their powers even if their superpower is trying their best against overwhelming odds. I love to write stories featuring people who unexpectedly find themselves in positions of power where their choices will affect the future as we know it- whether anyone else realizes it or not.

I also love a good romance and tend to give all of my heroes and heroines a soulmate, someone to share their adventures with. I also write more traditional romantic adventures under the pen name C. M. Conney.

Time travel back into medieval England

I enjoyed this well-written time travel fantasy and will be checking out more of the series. The book follows the adventure of Jen and she travels back in time through a portal, but quickly discovers that she cannot return to her former life. She chooses to make the best of the situation as she adjusts to her new life in medieval England. Overall I thought it was an interesting, well-written novel that kept my interest throughout the story.

Awkward and confused

The writing was good so far for me. Mystery had so much potential. There was so much crying,unnecessary crying, unnecessary hugs and awkward love between the MC and her husband. It seemed forced. It felt like discovery channel talking about love between Animals. I felt second hand awkwardness . The characters were so dramatic that sometimes I get confused 😐 why is everyone cry or in pain

I really enjoyed following the characters on their journey. Creative plot and engaging writing. The setting is a plus! Will keep you entertained.
