I''l admit right off that I am a fan of Norman Reedus but both my husband and I have really been enjoying this show. It isn't a show that delves deep into any thing. It just dips it's toe into local flavors, custom bikes, and beautiful scenery. Reedus narrates a far amount, something that normally I dislike, but he it does well touching on the history of the areas they are riding through and sharing anecdotes about himself. The people who he is riding with are actual friends and it is fun to watch their easy camaraderie. The people he talks with are real salt of the earth people who have passion for things whether it is barbecue, bikes, alligators, voodoo or Jesus. In various episode he pops wheelies and catches crawfish (both badly), competes in a port-o-potty race, creates art and then shoots it with old- timey guns and gambles... which he does much better than wheelies, then applies his winnings towards the dinner bill of a random couple eating at the same restaurant. One thing I appreciate is his inclusion of women bikers in most of the episodes. He obviously digs the ladies going out there and being their bad a** selves. He just has a good time and so do I when I watch. I'll be sorry to see the last episode this Sunday. Six just wasn't enough.
