Stopped watching it. Some leads are Heros from the start who just never got their chance. Some are zeros and go to Hero. The male lead was unlikable and unrelatable throughout. He was a greasy jerk with no redeeming qualities. The writers/director tried to manipulate us into liking him. It didn't work. I kept waiting for both the male and female leads stories to develop so I would have reason to care. Neither did. Unlikable lead characters, unnecessarily and overtly raunchy and poor plot- Bad music and transitions. Most of the supporting cast are really good actors-despite a crappy script. I went back a couple weeks later hoping the last quarter of the movie like a great football game, might just pull off an upset of improvement at the last second of overtime. It didn't. It was unlikable, even as the credits rolled.

This is the story of a guy whose wife leaves him apparently because their love has died. She becomes famous by writing a blog about why he was so bad which eventually becomes a book. The guy turns out to have been an aspiring writer who refused to make editorial changes to his book which led to the book being rejected. Near the beginning of the movie, he sees a bride going into a church across the street. He throws a football at her which she punts over the top of his house. This causes him to decide that she is the women for him. He spends the rest of the movie stalking her inappropriately. I won't spoil the ending.

The scenery in this movie is spectacular at many points. That's about as good as it gets. This movie feels like one of those movies that tries to be a bit edgy but ends up just being inappropriate and unrealistic. Many of the things that happen in the movie seem silly. In some ways, some of the grown people act like high school kids or worse. There is never any really clear evidence that the two people should be together and their budding friendship seems sudden and unexpected. I did not find the main characters to be especially likable. I would say this movie just doesn't quite get it right. It might be worth checking out if you like these kinds of movies. Just don't expect a masterpiece.

I liked this movie. It's sort of mixed up, but it's entertaining and full of twists. It keeps you busy enough not to guess what the ending is, which I like. The characters are likable, and it is very much like real life and love. You just never know what is going to happen, and sometimes what seems right in love, does end up being wrong.
....and , vice~versa.
You can't loose anything by watching this. I don't want to give away the movie, so all I'm going to say is, watch it!
I think anyone can get something from it, maybe even some good advice or inspiration.
I took off a star, but only because it is a little on the unrealistic side, and it's not for everyone.
Cute movie, ... can be a little cheesy in parts. (I've never really known any guys like this, maybe a bit unrealistic).
Buttttt, a good pick-me-up film.

I had a hard time telling the object of his desire from his best friend's wife. And then there was the ex-wife. And the new wife. They should have made Collette a brunette, not just to add variety, but to emphasize that she wasn't what her husband was really looking for.

Anyway, I would have rated this 3 stars, which is where formulaic rom-coms rate if they're more or less okay. This got rated down one star because it had elements of fantasy (his skill with the dishes, for one -- seriously, I thought it was supposed to be like a daydream or something) when this wasn't that sort of movie. And that the characters weren't likeable. Also, I don't like movies that make violence and aggression "okay". (Apparently we're supposed to find it adorable that this woman clocks people whenever she's frustrated or angry.) All in all, it just didn't pull together quite smoothly. Came across like someone's first effort.

Who's right for the other half, whose wrong—hence the title. Now that you understand, you might ask, what's the movie like? Starts off giving you the cringe, creepy, uncomfortable to watch, a main character that your're thinking I don't want to know. He sneaks into a wedding, not knowing anyone, and hits on the bride. Then he turns into a stalker. Don't give up on this movie. Gradually, cleverly, the story works on your emotions, and what appears to be black and white turns gray and suddenly it's awash in a completely different color and you'll find yourself rooting for the creepy loser, whose actually so much more, someone deep, with real feelings, with a heart, someone who knows what love really is. What an arc!

This movies takes the main two characters on their own separate development journeys as they come together in an unusual way. It's about self discovery and personal growth and does it very well within a "romantic comedy". The movies is well written and was very enjoyable.

I couldn't wait for this movie to end. It is completely trashy! the characters are unlikeable in every sense. the lead is a tree hugger who flips the bird to a senator (super popular to be disrespectful right now-so, uh, yeah, let's jump on THAT bandwagon) The lead male pursues a MARRIED woman (again, WHO CARES?? Marriage means nothing anymore) Obscene references to trashy relations, Horrible movie...and amazon lists the directors about 30 times in a row. Maybe so that you NEVER watch another movie they directed...barf.

Didn’t recognize any of the actors but this 2014 movie was actually good! Watched the whole movie. Basically, talented writer ends up being a dishwasher but gets the girl in the end.
