I love this author's books so I might be a tad impartial. I understand that most have series and take time to build a world or characters and of course a following. Even so it is rare these days for a stand alone. This may say book one but it reads as a stand alone and it's good. Very good. I got everything I needed in one book. That's not to say that the author can't add more in this same world. Hopefully she will and have some crossover or continuity because even though I kinda got an HEA I would like to see if Mara and her guys get more down the line.
So I highly recommend this book to all.

The males become obsessed with Mora from the get go and treat her like a queen.

There were definitely some heartbreaking moments but it all works out wonderfully.

I hope I get to read more about Mora and her guys in the future.

I really enjoyed this book. It ended pretty quickly but I liked it. There ended up not really being much of a fight scene at the end. I felt really bad for the other angel. It seemed like he was really sad but also had the potential to be a good villain. I could see it going either way. Can’t wait to see what happens with him because even though it’s not a cliffhanger, it has a thread at the end that could lead to more.

I loved this book from Snow. It has a heroine that is sweet but shows hints of spicy that are intriguing. Her males are possessive and protective and there is no cheating is this book (big deal for me). What is interesting is that this book does NOT end on a cliffy (which I love), but raises the question of who is in the next book and rest of series?

Mora has always know to be different from other humans. She thinks she's an harbinger of death for the people she meets as she can see when they die. So to avoid affecting anybody, she isolates herself until one day the truth is revealed and Mora finds out how powerful she is. Forced to train as a grim reaper, she needs to stay away from Angel's as they would try to kill her for what she is. However, when during a night out she meets two demons and an angel, Mora can't stay away from them even if her life is at risk.

I really enjoyed the first half of the book. There are so many steamy scenes and I'm all for it. However what I didn't really like was how Mora had been warned to stay away from angels as they would kill her, but when they find out, there is not much conflict. There was so much buil-up for the fight for when angels would find out about her, that I felt disappointed when I read how easily the problem was solved.

The author didn't pay much attention to this book, time lines don't match, people are dismissed from the overall book only to reappear a few lines over suddenly saying something.... Why oh why do we need a 1O1 to being in a nightclub? Also does it need a whole chapter?

My pet peeve, long internal dialogue that just repeats what's already been said. It happens a lot. I'm hoping this was a rough draft that got out up by mistake. Frustrating waste of time.

Mora grows up believing she is responsible for the deaths of people she knows and so isolates herself from everyone because she doesn't want anyone to die. That's not the whole truth though. She learns who she is meant to be and falls in love with some super hot guys!
