I have always been a huge Damian Wayne fan and disappointed by DC's treatment of his characterization and growth most of the time over the years. It's nice to finally have a writer for him that doesn't hate him, and an artist that doesn't blatantly whitewash him as a Bruce carbon copy.
The art is beautiful and the pacing along with the humor is well thought and executed. Plus, it's always nice to see some wonderful Batfamily moments that aren't riddled with some edgelord angst and overdramatic violence like DC seems to like these days. I have high hopes for Williamson and Melnikov's partnership and look forward to buying the rest of the future issues!
