Ok, the only reason I’m giving this four instead of five stars was a grammatical error that was overused. I did appreciate that the author used “name and I” often, but it actually should have been “name and me” several times. Sorry, I was raised by an English teacher, so it bugged me a little.

Honestly, the story and characters were amazing. It was very realistic, not over angsty or dramatic, but still thoroughly enjoyable. I felt like all the characters were realistic and 3D. Overall one if the most enjoyable books I’ve read recently.

This hits all the check marks! Brother's best friend? Check. Roommate? Check. Swoony hero? Check again. Jess and Conor both like each other almost instantly, but they put up boundaries. Jess is fresh off a bad break up and Conor doesn't think he can cross the best friends sister line. They are so cute together and make each other "stupid happy." I liked watching both of them grow and realize what they wanted in life. Courtney is a great, hilarious, supportive character and I can't wait to read her story with Aiden!

To me Katie Bailey wrote a great book that I read in one afternoon. The storyline was very witty. The characters were very relatable, had average incomes, had integrity, compassion, and family values.

It reminded me that even though everyone has trials and tribulations in life, it how you respond to those things and what you learn from those experiences in order to improve your life.

I did not expect to feel uplifted or it be so thought provoking afterwards, but that is exactly what happened. I encourage others to read it for yourself. You won't be disappointed!

I was really impressed with this book! First, it was truly funny, making me laugh aloud several times. The writing style is witty and endearing, and the characters lovable. My favorite quality though was how it was clean (or perhaps closed-door is a more fitting description?) without dropping into the schmaltzy pit of many contemporary, clean romances where the idea of anything more than kissing is either completely ignored or explained away by unrealistic circumstances.
