They are very soft, supple, and just dense enough to prevent head injury of the littles.
I ran out of another kind, so purchased these. The adhesive backing is *PREINSTALLED*, a huge advantage over the other brand I tried. Double-sided sticky tape is a pain to remove both sides of...so I was pleased at how easy it was to remove the backing.
I was searching for a 45 degree angle, because most of these products are either straight or 90. Didn't find a 45, but this product was flexible enough to bend to a 45 (see pic). I installed on the underside, because my 2yo is just barely hitting the bottom edge of the counter.
So far, so good!
