The 26 year old cameraman Abdulmajid Raslan filmed the turmoil of war in Syria which made him the deadly enemy for the Assad government as well as the ISIS terrorists. When his father Mohammad is deeply injured by a sniper and his wife expects their child, Abdulmajid draws up a plan: together with his father he will make his path to Europe and then bring his wife, mother and brother as well.

Just regular folks for sure -- even if one might ...Just regular folks for sure -- even if one might wonder why a 26 year old young man chooses to bail, rather than join with his countrymen in a civil war to eliminate the corrupt government he so hates. Does this film raise more questions than it answers? He shouts aloha snackbar and says little about the juhadists, as he calls them, and the atrocities they have commited against his fellow citizens. I guess he looks to others to fight his battles while he beats feet -- a real patriot.
