This is a movie that’ll have you biting your nails.
The story is very very dark and for some people might be disturbing.
People thought that Paul walker was just a pretty face on the big screen but this shows his full potential at acting.
This movie is one of those extremely rare instances where the director had full control of his movies without any studio Interferance. They end product was phenomenal. This had lots of moments where they could’ve been cut, but that’s what made this movie what it turned out to be. I highly recommend this movie to everyone that enjoys a good Saturday night movie

Running Scared is about a little killed named Oleg (Cameron Bright) who shot his abusive father with a gun he stole from his neighbor Joey (Paul Walker). Little did he know the gun he used was from a heist gone wrong that ended up killing a crooked cop. A whole bunch of crooks and cops are after him. Not only that but he runs into one crazy person after another. The story lays out a completely bizarre tale going from one insane situation to another.

Some of the people Oleg meets include a homeless drug addict, a prostitute that got beaten up by her pimp, and two child molesters. It definitely goes far and beyond the usual story. What draws people in is to see whether Oleg can survive the night. It really is an amazing bit of writing that never lets off the gas.

The best, most underrated, in your f#@$&#$ Face action movie you may have never heard of. If you have not seen this movie I strongly STRONGLY deeply Insistently, forcefully, urge you PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THINGS Tarentinoish WATCH THIS MOVIE!!!! If John Wick and Run Lola Run had a baby then meanwhile A History of Violence and and Reservoir Dogs had a baby and somehow those two baby's grew up met and F#$@&£π this would be there illegitimate love child. This movie is boss,dope,bomb,legit,,lit,hot fya and every other slang word I can think of for possibly the best hyper-realistic-crime-action Odyssey I've ever seen seriously and Paul Walker really gets a chance to shine here and play a different type of character than you have ever seen him do with a great supporting cast of familiar faces I would buy it for you just so you would watch it...but I don't know you like that. Anywhat what else you gonna do now that you've exhausted your Netflix, Hulu, Disney plus,and 5 other streaming services library because of Covid-19 lockdowns (disclaimer old people should not watch this or ppl with mild heart conditions or epilepsy.. probably not the best idea)..So do yourself a favor do the memory of Paul walker a favor do the post man a favor by waiting for him to deliver it and tell him how good it is! But most importantly do Warner Bros a favor because Marvel is F##$&$@ killing it and buy this movie. Your welcome, yours truly

The trailer is very misleading and wants you to believe this is a run of a mill crime movie which it's not. This is literally a dark fairytale with representations of some fairy tale characters in a 'realistic' fashion. The story, the editing, the music, the characters, and the pacing is fantastic. Anyone who loves Paul Walker or crazy violent movies that don't give you a moment to rest will love this film.

I can remember the first time I saw Running Scared when it first came out and being blown away by it and I still am to this day. This is one intense, twisted, exciting and extremely violent film that the late Paul Walker should be proud to have to his resume along with the equally underrated and great Joy Ride. Running Scared is loaded with style and thrills and is literally nonstop. Its like an extremely dark graphic novel type neo noir fairy tale. From the director of the great film The Cooler do not miss this overlooked gem along with The Cooler as well.

Not to be confused or have any affiliation with the 1986 action comedy starring Billy Crystal and Gregory Hines. This is not a comedy. ACTION describes this movie! Paul Walker is better in this movie than any of those Fast n' Furious flicks. It's a little over-the-top, typical in almost any action genre. That being said, it still rocks. Non-stop from the beginning to end. Throw in some great drama, dark themes, and thrills to go with all the craziness. His character in this film is similar to the Fast franchise in that he is an undercover detective. The comparisons stop there and in Running S. he is a much more volatile and angry in dealing with the bad guys. He's a bad*** for sure but more in a street smarts sort of way. A wild ride that kept me guessing till the end. They should have made a sequel. I would go see it!

Other reviewers have already detailed the story plot, so I'll just give you my opinion of this action thriller. Wow! The action is non-stop right from the beginning, and there are plenty of twists and turns to keep you on the edge of your seat. The bad guys are so vile you really don't want to so much as give them a bad look if you saw them on the street for they would not think twice about taking you out. Acting by all characters is superb, believable, and realistic, even by those who play minor roles, and there is no stupid dialogue which in other movies simply serves as filler. Some reviewers have criticized the ending as being too Hollywood---whatever that means---but I think it is the only ending that makes sense for viewers who watch movies to be entertained and who want to feel satisfied at the end, even if in real life things may not work out that way. If you want to see good guys and real bad guys match wits, guns, and fists within a thrilling plot, watch this movie and be prepared to postpone your trip to the bathroom for its entirety. Great moviemaking---I recommend it highly with five stars.

Vera Farmiga [Bates Motel] is Walker's devoted, but stressed-out wife who tries bravely to keep her wayward husband and young son [Alex Neuberger] out of trouble. There's plenty of shoot-out action from the very beginning right up to the bloody climax of this 2006 U.S./Canadian/German release which followed Walker's early racing-car films. Brief nudity adds spice to this stylish actioner. A must for any collector of Paul Walker's work.
