It’s up to Kathy and Nathan to escape the fort, and then, with the help of an old Coast Guard vet and a scientist with inside knowledge of the plot, to save millions of innocents from rampaging giant crabs. But Larsson’s evil plan has been decades in the making, and the crabs seem indestructible. It will take courage, teamwork, and perhaps the ultimate sacrifice, to avert disaster.
NPS Ranger McKinley Stinson discovers a rancher's prize bull has been butchered by an airborne killer, and tracks the blood trail back to the re-opened cavern. But as she's about to arrest the trespassers, the unstable roof collapses, trapping all.
Their only way out is at the cave system's far end. But an eco-system of terrifying mega fauna stands between them and freedom. Death, double-crosses, and a slew of monstrous cave creatures take their toll as the group battles to what they pray is an exit.
Will anyone survive this cavern of the damned?
The others on this rescue team make Grant uneasy. One is Mike Rabon, an old college friend who studied with Grant under Carson. But while Grant pursued an academic career, Mike has been working the black market, selling fossils to unscrupulous collectors. Then there’s the mysterious expedition leader, Laoxin Chou, who has brought her own team of thugs and seems to be hiding a secret agenda. To make matters worse, when they land, Grant discovers that none of them are even legally in China.
The search for Professor Carson takes them from windswept deserts to silvan mountains and a village outside what the locals call the Forest of Fire. And along the way, clues all point to the same conclusion: dragons still roam these timberlands of China.
Subterfuge and double-crosses abound as the expedition tries to stay ahead of government forces and escape the creatures that inhabit the mountain. Are the ancient legends of fire-breathing dragons true? Will Grant be able to defy the odds and survive the Forest of Fire?
It is 1938, and antiques dealers Rick and Rose Sinclair come across an old journal. It tells an explorer’s tale of sighting the queen’s lost temple, but his porters forcing him to turn back, terrified by myths of the temple’s protection by giant monsters and the queen’s avaricious ghost.
The Sinclairs set out to find the temple, transported in a decrepit plane by their smuggler friend Humphrey. The moment they land, their plan goes awry. They are robbed, and worse, they discover they have competition searching for the lost temple.
The Sinclairs will find that all the legends were true. The temple does exist. The treasure is still there. And it is all defended by giant creatures bent on slaughtering any who trespass. Will Rick’s cunning and Rose’s intellect be enough to survive the dangers of the temple of the queen?
Those dragons have awakened.
But there is a much deeper, and broader plot afoot. Romy Saturo Kang has a longstanding grudge against the park system. Teamed up with other unsavory locals, his plan includes not only freeing the dragons, but letting loose an eruption of Kilauea that will drive all but his chosen few from the island forever.
Kathy West and Nathan Toland appear to be regular National Park Service Rangers, but they have a secret assignment, to find and contain this kind of supernatural threat. The rangers know the only solution is to seal the dragons back inside their fiery lair…whatever the cost.
Kathy and Nathan have faced monsters like this before, but this time they may have met their match. If they can convince a descendant of Hawaiian royalty and his followers to join their cause, they might stand a chance. But the odds will be long, because no one in living memory has survived an encounter with The Dragons Of Kilauea.
National Park Service rangers Kathy West and Nathan Toland have the clandestine mission to keep dangerous creatures in the park at bay. When several large animals are killed with ferocious savagery, and then two hikers vanish, Kathy is sure another secret National Park monster is on the loose.
Nathan’s research uncovers how a secret society first contained the threat. But Bedey is several steps ahead of them, aided by traitorous conspirators within the park, and international help from without. Last time, it took the U.S. Army to defeat the ravens. Will the rangers beat the odds and stop the impending reign of terror by the ravens of Yellowstone?
After the death of her father, young Cyndi Fisher travels to Paris to meet the grandfather she never knew. That man turns out to be Father Jack Cahill, a renegade exorcist who was unaware he’d fathered a child before taking his vows.
Cyndi is soon drawn into Father Jack’s world, where demons from Hell are possessing humans and robbing Europe’s churches of sacred relics. From the cathedrals of Paris, through the graveyards of France, and into the sewers of Rome, they confront the possessed, battle risen corpses, and fight gang members sent to stop them.
They uncover a plot to set Satan free upon the Earth, but stopping it seems impossible. Demons are always one step ahead of them, and each manifestation is more powerful than the last. Stopping Satan’s return will take courage and faith. Will an aged priest and an agnostic teen have enough of either?
But their plane crashes short of their destination, and the entire group faces a terrifying fight for survival. This isolated area hosts unknown animals more fearsome than they’d expected, including giant ants and flesh-eating pterosaurs.
Even worse, Katsoros’ agenda has more to it than meets the eye, and Grant soon fears that it doesn’t include all of them getting back alive. Will any expedition members survive to be rescued, or will they be devoured by the creatures indigenous peoples call the monsters in the clouds?
