That piece of the plot has not been answered, and as a reader, I am left wanting closure.
The probabilities floated by the author are just that.
Caitlyn and Troy's romance was the sweet, alpha male trope that Makenna Jameison is known for. Men going above and beyond the call to protect the women they love.
A great read with steam, some suspense and action and good characters. I liked these two, no drama, no other women, no misunderstandings or cheating. I was missing them interacting with the other SEAL brothers and the women as I would have liked to see how she fit in with all of them in a social setting, meeting them and getting to know them. Otherwise a good read that kept me turning the pages and the ending....oh boy....great set up to Logan’s book.
*I voluntarily read an advanced copy and expressed my honest opinion*

1: Spelling mistakes, lots of them!
2: Missing or incorrect words.
3: As if navy seals don’t know the back end of a boat is called the stern. They wouldn’t say the back of the boat!
The storyline was never explained. Who were the people who took them hostage on the yacht? Why did they do it? Who was the female that was with one of the kidnappers? AAAAAARGH!!!!
So disappointed. I preordered this book as I loved the others. But this was awful.
The one star is for the only good thing about it, and that’s the sex scene was well written.
