FYI: I am a super-prolific author of many series, most of which occur in the same universe. Characters and events overlap. It's sort of like how Iron Man and Captain America have their own movies, but sometimes get together for the Avengers. You can start with any of my series that look interesting to you, or you can read all of them!
I recommend reading The Descent Series, the Cain Chronicles, The Ascension Series, A Fistful of Daggers, War of the Alphas, and The Mage Craft Series for the "core" story of my books.
Happy reading!

Blog postIf you would like to know the instant I have a new book available, you should enlist in my Army of Evil! I’ll email you when I have a new release, which is generally no more than once a month. I can’t write any faster than that.
I’ve also started emailing free urban fantasy books to my readers on occasion. I send out books that I’ve loved and believe you guys will, too. Again, I only do that a couple times a year. (If you don’t like it, you can unsubscribe at any time, no big deal. Bu5 years ago Read more -
Blog postThis has been coming for a long time. Long before the moment that Marion woke up in the Ransom Falls emergency room, before she became Queen of the Sidhe…before she met Seth Wilder. She planned for everything except him.
And now it’s time for the end of the world. Again.
Cast in Godfire has been published, and that bring the Mage Craft series to the end of its five-book epic journey through Sheol, the faerie courts, and small-town Washington. You can now read the complete5 years ago Read more -

ABOUT SHADOW BURNS
When more than a dozen people die at a retirement home, the official story is carbon monoxide poisoning. Cèsar Hawke is convinced the reason is less mundane and more infernal. But that’s his job. As an agent working for the Office of Preternatural Affairs, he’s always looking for supernatural answers to deadly questions.
Isobel Stonecrow agrees to help him find the truth. With her powers of necrocognition, she can speak to the dead and get the real story.
But when they return to the crime scene, they find a lot more than cadavers. They find a nightmare that they can’t escape—a nightmare from Isobel’s past, which even she can’t completely remember thanks to the contract that signed away her soul.
Cèsar will have to disinter Isobel’s secrets to save her. He’ll learn who Isobel used to be, what she’s done, and the price she paid…no matter how deadly the knowledge might be.
ABOUT DEADLY WRONG
Isobel Stonecrow’s life has an expiration date: One month, two weeks, four days, and six hours remaining.
Not that she’s counting.
When she signed a contract giving her soul and memories to a demon named Ander, she didn’t expect that she would ever have to face termination. But now Ander is dead and she’ll be following suit if she can’t find a way to dissolve the deal.
Too bad she can’t remember anything from the time before she signed the contract.
Fritz Friederling, a billionaire demon hunter who owns several businesses in Hell, isn’t ready to give up on Isobel. But she isn’t sure that working with Fritz is better than dying. She doesn’t know much about her past life, but she knows that she signed Ander’s contract for a reason—and that getting away from Fritz was a significant part of it.
Escaping her contract means remembering the life that she chose to forget. And it means trusting Fritz Friederling, who Isobel fears might be the biggest danger of all…
ABOUT ASHES AND ARSENIC
Agent Cèsar Hawke is in his element when he’s investigating magical crime. And with his boss out of town, Cèsar gets to pick which cases he works on. He’s bent on doing nothing involving demons, zombies, or fallen angels this time. Instead, he’s going to find the witch who used magic to rob a bank.
Easy stuff. Cèsar plans to catch the perp before his boss gets home.
But when he digs into the robbery, he finds much more than missing money. He also finds a deadly turf battle between two covens and a trail of bloody violence.
A trail that leads directly to his brother, Domingo Hawke.
Domingo wants Cèsar’s help taking down his enemies. Forget that Cèsar works for the Office of Preternatural Affairs, forget allegiances, forget pesky “contracts” and “conduct.” Domingo is calling in a favor and the Hawke family is too tight to refuse.
Blood is the most powerful ingredient in any witch’s spell, after all…
ABOUT ONCE DARKNESS FALLS
The worst case scenario has happened: Reno NV has fallen to d
Until Elise Kavanagh murdered them.
A demon named Belphegor has entered the Origin and become a new god, triggering genesis: the death and rebirth of the entire universe. He wants Elise to join him in Eden for the end of all things, but only once she’s watched everyone she cares about die painfully under his heel.
With nothing but a dwindling army of werewolves, Elise must enter Eden, slaughter Belphegor, and stop the genesis. But Belphegor’s smarter than Adam ever was, and far crueler. He’s spent lifetimes preparing for this.
He will have his world of Hellfire. He will have victory. And he will have Elise’s life…
The brothers, Seth and Abel, are at each other’s throat over Rylie, even as the twins are fast approaching term. But it may be too late for all of them. The government has revealed the existence of werewolves, threatening everything that Rylie holds dear. And the evil werewolf Cain is preparing for his final act of revenge: destroying the pack and stealing Rylie’s children.
This is the epic conclusion to The Cain Chronicles. Episode 5 is 65,000 words (about the same length as episodes 1-4 combined). You can find the rest of the series here: smarturl.it/cainchronicles
I never could have finished this without my readers, so thank you all for your support. It means the world to me. This is the end of The Cain Chronicles, but it's not the end of Rylie, Abel, and Seth's story! So when you finish, make sure to stop by smarturl.it/sotms -- I need your help with the next series!
The faeries from the Winter Court have an offer to make Stark’s domination easier. They know where to find a cursed sword that can kill anything, and they’ll give it to him…for a price.
Deirdre’s the only one who can keep Stark from getting this powerful weapon—if she wants to. But as brutal as Stark may be, he’s also the only one who can give Deirdre what she wants.
Vengeance.
And Deirdre doesn’t know where her loyalties lie anymore.
The lie is a necessary part of his branding. He’s determined to become a Hero, blessed by the Oracles and venerated by legions of followers. For now, he’s just one more thief slinging magical artifacts on the black market, hoping for infamy to strike like lightning. But he’s never going to become canonized if Gutterman, demon and loan shark, gets his pound of flesh from Cage first.
A job offer from the biggest Hero cult in America lights a path to fame—and enough money to repay Gutterman. Unfortunately, Cage’s ex-girlfriend, Brigid Byrne, wants the job as bad as he does. Whoever steals an artifact named Nábrók will be hired. And Brigid doesn’t mind kidnapping, poisoning, and back-stabbing Cage to win…
The race of thieves is on. And Cage is bent on scoring Nábrók before all his bad decisions catch up with him.
She can’t control his allies anymore. She can’t win the election without him.
Everything will be lost unless Deirdre can become a better monster than Stark.
The multiverse's greatest detective uses a litterbox.
A collection of the first five novelettes in The Psychic Cat Mysteries series. All five stories amount to the length of a full-length novel.
Mr. Poe was born under a patio--a humble beginning for a kitten who would gain psychic powers through the Ring of Bau, and ultimately become the finest detective Haven has ever seen. He lives in a retirement community for immortals, solving murders, finding what's gone missing, and never missing a nap.
- The Cat of Amontillado
- The Tell Tale Cat
- Masque of the Red Cat
- Fall of the House of Cat
- The Cat and the Pendulum
This is a series of novelettes, each around 12-15,000 words. These cozy stories are perfect to read while curled up with a hot coffee on a chill autumn morning.
And she’s returned with a purpose.
For the first time in history, the role of Alpha is up for election. If Everton Stark takes charge, he could disband the ruthless government organization that has made life miserable for shifters like Deirdre.
One problem: Stark doesn’t want to run. He only wants vengeance against his wife, Rhiannon, who killed many of his followers and stole the Ethereal Blade.
While Stark is focused on revenge, Rhiannon is focused on winning the election for Alpha. Victory means tearing the Winter Court apart with civil war. It means riots. It means unleashing a deadly unseelie assassin that devours souls. Anything to get her dragon shifter mate in power…with Rhiannon at his side.
