Rappelling in Waterfall tested!!

Amazing shoes! We went rappelling to a waterfall in Puerto Rico. The hike was demanding with rivers, ponds, waterfalls and many rocks. The shoes were perfect. When you buy them, get them half a size smaller. Also make sure you tie them up good if you are doing something as crazy as rappelling in a waterfall. Besides that, I’m super proud of our choice of shoes.

Disappointed fit (around the house)

I purchased these along with the L-RUN Athletic Hiking Water Shoes. I was in need of something to hike easy to moderate trails in Hawaii in search of waterfalls. I was really hopeful for the SOBASO due to their more rugged tread and the larger holes in the mesh. Unfortunately they didn’t fit as well walking around the house. As seen in the picture they required the bungee to be cinched down pretty tight, which caused overlapping of the mesh. The fit around the opening at the top of my foot was also loose. The biggest downside I found though was the heel. At the very back of the shoe the heel dips for some reason. I could definitely see this being an issue on uneven terrain or while walking through creeks and the heel slipping off.
The other shoe fit much better. More like a neoprene sock. I’m going to keep them and return these. I’ll write a more detailed review of those shoes after I’m able to get out and walk with them a bit.

Decent water shoes...

Bought these as competition for the RocSocs and Keens. What I love about these is that they dry super fast. I don't see them holding up for a whole season. I didn't slip on the algae covered rocks in the river. Wish they had more toe protection, but overall pretty good. Some small pebbles get thru the mesh, but not too bad. I wouldn't wear these without socks for real hiking. I did now the lawn in them without socks and got bad blisters, but that's my fault. I don't think they will last in the long term, but for light use or occasional water sports, I'm sure they would be okay for many people. For serious hiking in rivers and creeks, on slippery rocks, I'd consider going for something more robust.

These Shoes Are The Best Footwear for an Active Girl like Me! Swimming, Hiking and just everyday wear use-So Comfortable! I have hardly worn any other shoes since this pair arrived! I want them in All Colors! First one is Green in the picture .
So I bought the Blue pair this time and it was such a disapointment! The third time wearing them and the side strap busted loose.
I am still happily wearing the green pair. Maybe I got a dud this time.
