Comfortable water shoes and for hiking

I’m usually a size 8 and ordered a 7.5 and they fit perfect. So comfortable especially the soles. They are great quality for the price. I bought two pairs and might buy more. I wear these hiking and to trek through water.

Disappointed fit (around the house)

I purchased these along with the L-RUN Athletic Hiking Water Shoes. I was in need of something to hike easy to moderate trails in Hawaii in search of waterfalls. I was really hopeful for the SOBASO due to their more rugged tread and the larger holes in the mesh. Unfortunately they didn’t fit as well walking around the house. As seen in the picture they required the bungee to be cinched down pretty tight, which caused overlapping of the mesh. The fit around the opening at the top of my foot was also loose. The biggest downside I found though was the heel. At the very back of the shoe the heel dips for some reason. I could definitely see this being an issue on uneven terrain or while walking through creeks and the heel slipping off.
The other shoe fit much better. More like a neoprene sock. I’m going to keep them and return these. I’ll write a more detailed review of those shoes after I’m able to get out and walk with them a bit.

This is a good shoe for river Exploration and walking

We spend a lot of time walking in the South Platte river in CO. These shoes are perfect for that- excellent traction in the river and on the rocks, a thick sole to help protect your feet from the rocks, and great comfort. The only downside for me is that I don’t have enough ankle support, but my ankles are old like me (60s) so I don’t think it would be a problem for younger people. I highly recommend these over other river / water shoes I’ve owned mostly because of the thicker more flexible sole I also wear socks with them to help keep out small rocks. I’ve bought a second pair for me and a pair for my husband too.

These shoes are amazing! They fit true to size. I ordered the blue they are beautiful.
My only complaint is I wish they made a 9.5 womans. (my normal size) I ordered a 10 first but returned them because they felt too big, but ended up with a 9.
These are way better than just normal water shoes.
They are flexible, durable and slip resistant. I have been hiking in them several times they are thick enough that you do not feel the rocks under your feet but light weight enough they your feet don't feel tired on long hikes.
They dry quickly and are very comfortable.
I loved them so much, I ordered my husband a pair (size 11.5 mens) he also loves them and has become a staple on our camping/hiking trips!

The tread is good, seems to grip well in the water. However not much support, and you can feel the jaggedness of the rocks due to such flexible sole. Has wide opening, even when I pull the string to tighten it is still a little loose,( and string is so long!) which then rubs the back of the heel and could result in a blister if worn for a long time. I personally where are these barefoot, because I bought for wearing in the water specifically. I will not buy again, instead I will just save up and pay for a reputable brand that may cost double but will be more comfortable and last longer.

These are great for walking on rocks in a creek. However, the small silty sand will get into the sides. Better for big rocks.

They fit very nice and are quite comfortable. I bought them to paddle board. Wanted a bit of support and they provide just the right amount. The first time I put them on, one of the shoelace eyelets broke. I set them out to dry that evening and still very wet in the morning. I would definitely not label them quick drying. They are still wet.
