2.0 out of 5 stars Came damaged
By Kyla on September 11, 2019
Saga is an amazing series and is definitely worth the read. However, this compendium was sent in a bag and was severely damaged in shipping, and some pages were bent which makes me believe it was probably used at some point. I would jump for a hardcover version or the digital version.

3.0 out of 5 stars Three stars because I wish it had arrived in better shape.
By Alan Marchman on September 12, 2019
No complaints about the content of the book. I've read some of Saga in digital form and absolutely love it. The condition the book arrived in, however, is disappointing. This is a massive book and I don't understand why it wasn't shrink-wrapped to provide a basic level of protection from being handled in the warehouse. My copy arrived with some dinged corners and the cover has marks on it like it was rolled down a conveyor. It's a trade, so it's meant to be read and get worn, but I wish it hadn't arrived pre-worn.

2.0 out of 5 stars Poor quality, the pages are falling out.
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on December 21, 2019
Based purely on the quality of the book, not the content.

The pages are falling out, right from the start. It's a heavy book and the binding is not suitable for such a large compendium. Disappointing as this is something I'd like to keep and read again, but it's too fragile to be handled, let alone shipped loosely in a box with dunnage, where it can be knocked about.
