Sally has been writing for young children for over thirty years. She has been published often by HIGHLIGHTS FOR CHILDREN and HIGH FIVE magazines. Her books are all very easy to read, except when written for advertising markets. Her Dancing Dinos series is illustrated by her daughter, Margeaux Lucas. For Sally, story ideas come from her own childhood experiences growing up in Cleveland, Ohio, her fun times raising five children close in ages, and her past lesson plans teaching Special Education students.
