First of all, the main thing that drew me to this phone was it's 64GB memory compared to my Samsung Galaxy S7 32GB which started acting weird after I started getting messages that my internal memory was low. Even though I added two separate128 sim cards, I still was getting the same error message and my phone started freezing up, taking a while to load and acted weird. So, back to what caught my attention about this phone, it's 64GB memory. I read the other specs and fearures, but because I mostly use my phone to call, text or send messages and use the browsers and other basic fearures, I didn't pay much attention to the other features. But, trust me, when I got it and started exploring with it, I actually like the features and other features I discovered, including the 2 sim slot which allows me to simultaneouly have 2 sims cards in. The other important thing for me was I needed a phone that would work with Verizon and one of the reviews mentioned that all I'll need to do is transfer my old sim card to the new verizon phone sim, and it worked. NOTE: I had an old Verizon sim card that I transferred to this new Verizon compatible phone, but I don't think if you have a sim card from another carrier that this will work or apply to you, so you may need a new sim card....that helped big time with the initial set up. Because I like smaller phones that can fit in my purse and tight spaces, I was a bit skeptic of upgrading from a 5.5" phone to this phone that's 6.4", but when I got it, I fell in love with the bigger screen which is better for watching movies or viewing certain things in landscape mode versus the usual portrait view. I love that my Samsung Galaxy was sturdy, but this phone is by far lighter. I hope that doesn't mean that it will be easier to break as a result. Oh, I also love that there is no flasing notification light that's usually in the top left hand corner, because on my other phones, I found it very annoying and distracting. So, even if there's a way to add or activate it on this phone, i won't because I like it without that feature.

My 2 CONS:
1) Thus far, the charging cable came in the box, but it was too short compared to the other standard charging cables I'm used to. Probably I was just spoiled, so I bought a long charing cable and my problem hopefully will be solved soon when I receive it and it's actually compatible/works.

2) I didn't read anywhere where it said it could be charged wirelessly, so I'll miss that feature on my Samsung Galaxy S7.

It's a relatively newphone, so there's still tons to explore, but I like everything about it including that I got a clear case, earphone in the package and that it has the feature that you could take a picture of items/barcodes to use when shopping online.

I was a bit hesitant on purchasing this phone due to the negative reviews on here, but I decided to try it and I'm glad I did. So far the phone has been great, its obviously not a flag ship phone but it performs well. You can play games with no problems or lag, and the display is beautiful. The fingerprint reader doesn't always register but 8/10 times ot works. Battery seems to drain pretty quickly, it may be due to me using it quite a bit though. On occasion the phone freezes for a couple seconds but it's about once every couple days, no big deal. Overall it's a good phone with a nice display.

Everything about this phone is great! It works perfectly fine in the US on Metro by t-mobile. The default language is Spanish but you can easily put it to English during the start up. The fingerprint scanner works fine for me as well as the facial recognition. The only downside is that the blue light filer doesn't work on the lock screen due to the fingerprint sensor being on screen (I found this out online) but its not a big deal. I love this phone!

It comes with a screen protector already on plus a basic clear case, charger, & headphones with a mic.

Do No Buy! Phone is from Latin America! Samsung will not honor warranty or repairs!

This phone died after 3 months.; Technically still under warranty BUT.... I was shipped an international phone from Latin America. Event hough the seller is in Texas. Samsung will not honor the warranty as it is an "international" phone. They won't even repair it!!! So now my fight is with Samsung and trying them to honor the warranty which says for defects and labor for 1 year. Samsung's warranty card for customer service and repair that was in the box the cell phone came in has a toll free # to the United States. So if the warranty card in the box has a Phone # to the US why won't they honor the warranty! If I knew I was purchasing a phone from Latin America I would not have bought it!!!!!!

Latin American version with only 4 GB, not 6 GB

It's a great phone. I took out my Verizon SIM card from my old phone, inserted it into the new phone, and it started right up and connected me to Verizon just fine. I had to use the SmartSwitch to get all of my apps transferred, but that worked well.

The language defaulted to Spanish, but it was simple to set it to English. The spacebar on the keyboard says Espanol even though it types fine in English. It's annoying, but...meh. Maybe I can install a new keyboard.

The Settings say the phone was made by Disenado y Desarrollado por Samsung.

Though I set the language to English, much of the Samsung Members app is in Spanish, and it doesn't look like it can be changed. Guess I won't be using that much.

If I'd known so much of it was going to be in Spanish I'd not have ordered this. I checked just now and my local Best Buy has the same phone for about the same price. I don't know if it has 6 GB of RAM, but I'm fairly certain it isn't the International version.

Still, there's really nothing wrong with the phone. It works just fine in the U.S., even on Verizon.

If I could just get rid of all traces of Spanish I'd be happy. It feels like I'm using a stranger's phone...

First off, let me just say that this device is absolutely beautiful. The screen is a phenomenal super Amoled, the colour is unique, and the square camera layout gives the device a modern look.

packaging was unacceptable - is this phone even new?

Have not tried the phones yet. I ordered 2 because both my dad and sister needed a new phone. One of the phones came fine. The other one had very clearly been opened and everything put back in. The packaging isnt even close to being correct (as I can see first from the packaging with no problems and second because the box wouldnt close all the way and it was taped to be kept shut). The phone was stuffed on the very top (again it was supposed to be underneath a cardboard box as seen from the other packaging) and it also fell out when I opened the box. It is VERY clear that the phone had already been taken out and probably even used (there are a billion scratches on the plastic covering) and then stuffed back inside where the person didnt even bother to make it even close to the right packaging. I am very upset at this since now I have no idea if this phone is even new.

After reading & watching several conflicting reviews online, I decided to buy this phone and give it a shot. After using it for several days, it is safe to say this is an excellent purchase. I replaced my Essential PH-1 phone with the Samsung A51 and wouldn't go back. The battery life is great, the screen is vibrant, the camera takes excellent shots (although lacking in the super fine detail), and the performance is more than adequate. Yes there are tiny lag spikes, and I have found the panel to not be the most responsive, but it has not taken away from the overall experience. The included case fits nicely and still makes the phone easy to hold. Bluetooth works flawlessly - I have it paired with my Polar A370 fitness tracker, my car, ear buds, and a keyboard. Face recognition works very well when there is enough light on your face, and the fingerprint reader for the most part is accurate.

I'd strongly recommend this phone.
