Santa Cruise Audible Audiobook – Unabridged
Fun, friendship, and romance are on board as four lifelong friends embark on a holiday singles cruise in a heartwarming new novel by number-one New York Times best-selling author Fern Michaels.
At Ridgewood High, Amy, Frankie, Rachael, and Nina formed a deep bond. Now, 15 years after leaving school behind, they’re back for a reunion, laughing, reminiscing, and chatting how much has changed - and how much hasn’t. Nina, once the star of every school play, moved to Hollywood and landed a recurring role on a sitcom. Amy, fondly known as “the brains of the operation”, is now a Silicon Valley bioengineer. Outgoing and compassionate, Frankie works for a New York publishing house. Rachael, always the most boy-crazy of the crew, married - mostly to please her parents - but is now divorced. All four are strong, successful, and somehow, still looking for the right partner. But Frankie has an idea to help solve that: a singles cruise for the holidays.
In late December, Amy, Rachael, Frankie, and Nina gather in Miami, ready to board their state-of-the-art cruise ship. The entertainment options are endless, the food is to die for, and the passenger list includes hundreds of eligible men. The highlight of the week will be a magnificent New Year’s Eve celebration with multiple theme parties, dancing, and fireworks. The ladies are happy to give Cupid a helping hand here and there - hanging mistletoe in elevators and cheering each other on through speed-dating events and shore excursions. Holidays - like the path of love itself - don’t always go exactly as planned, but over the course of one festive, unforgettable week, all four will set sail on surprising new adventures.

The distraction was something that ought to have been caught at least by the editors or draft readers. I am a frequent cruiser with over 65 cruises, several on ships that are ‘of the seas’ in name. Many of the descriptions of the ship are of one of the big ships. This appears to be time lined very recent and a check of Key West shows that it would be before the limits being imposed on cruise ships. However, all cruiselines of the size to have as many paid restaurants as this one has have almost everything done on their seapass cards. Boarding was almost right. There are no paper bills .. everything is charged to seapass card and paid at end of cruise. There is no ship that doesn’t allow tipping on top of the automatic tipping. The daily activities listing is not called a manifest… that has a completely different meaning. It is also now on an APP, but paper copies can be requested for the cabin steward to deliver the next days when making up the room at night. There are multiple activities on sea days for every hour of the day … almost as many on port days. Flash mobs are usually limited to repositioning cruises (lots of sea days for practice) as our Choirs. All restaurants have menus and each person at table will order different things for appetizer, sides, main meal and desserts. Singles activities and excursions are planned by the company (separate from cruise line) hosting the cruise. All excursions have many more people and often have those ticketed meet in the cruise ship theatre so that they are escorted to the right vehicles. Alternative is lining up behind a sign on shore. The book descriptions are too unorganized. Sorry, but all of the misinformation/descriptions became very distracting.
Nothing is more powerful then women encouraging each other to step boldly out of our comfort zones and become their authentic self.
We don't always have to agree with the path one is taking, but acknowledge that there are many paths to success and finding fulfillment. Be open to new opportunities and meeting new people.
