Blog postOne of my favorite horror subgenres is killer dolls.
Chucky is a great character, but films like Puppet Master, Dolls, and Annabelle have all really produced some fun scares and terrifying imagery as well.
And, truth be told, the fear of dolls goes back for centuries in human history.
Dolls are simply… creepy.
They stare at you and smile at you in a disturbing way, though you know it’s all in your head.

Blog postI grew up on horror—reading novels and comics, watching TV shows and movies.
Growing up, it had been an annual tradition to have friends sleep over on my birthday. We would rent three horror movies that were clearly never meant for children, then stay up all night eating junk food and watching them.
Jigsaw of Souls is, in a way, a callback to those years.
It is about discovering who you are and dealing with absolute horror of your world at the same time. Vincent Donnel1 month ago Read more -
Blog postI once found myself living out an urban legend. Picture this: A lone teenage girl is driving home late one winter night. The dark highway is empty. Suddenly, a car is inches from her bumper. The driver keeps flashing his high beams, blinding the teenager. Since he’s not overtaking her, she thinks he must want the upcoming turnoff. She’s just going too slow. So, she changes lanes. The driver follows, headlights still flashing. She realizes that they’ve passed the last turn off for a while. The2 months ago Read more

Blog postSurvival horror is one of my favorite genres. Those stories in which a powerful killer stalks his victims through the woods, and they have to rely on wits and luck to survive.
I wanted to channel that—the feeling of being lost and pursued—with the terror of not even understanding what’s stalking you into this story.
Vincent has survived everything that the ritual threw at him, and now wields ultimate power. Or so he thought.

Blog postThe idea of losing your freedom and autonomy, that you can be trapped, and at the mercy of others who can literally do anything they want, is very scary. Mix in a haunted mental asylum and a demonic child, and it’s a perfect recipe for fear.
Vincent has faced witches, and corpses, and evil djinn. But what he hasn’t experienced is being alone and helpless. Being forced to doubt what he thinks is real after all this time. And being at the mercy of a doctor who could be a tool of a demon5 months ago Read more -
Blog postBody horror is one of the most terrifying subgenres out there and it holds a special place in my heart.
Lots of classic horror is, at its core, body horror. What is a werewolf or a vampire but a monster made by warping the flesh of a normal human? And it’s terrifying to think that something will attack you not from the outside, but from within.
Films like The Thing and Resident Evil inspired The Darkness Within. For this story, I wanted Dezzy and Vincent in a location where th7 months ago Read more -
Blog postThere was a time when I didn’t fully appreciate all that horror had to offer. I never dared to venture too far from my favorite monsters and villains.
Then my parents threw a fateful New Year’s Eve party. There was one guest my age and she had been told to bring a movie of her choice. It was a horror movie of a subgenre I had never looked at.
Before the clock struck midnight, I was hooked. I went into the New Year determined to give all those stories I had been neglecting a ch7 months ago Read more -
Blog post…And not all of them are easy to live with—or survive.
There’s a childhood event that always reminds me to think before I act.
We had rented a houseboat for a short vacation and were anchored near a deserted island. I remember how the island was ringed with golden-sand beach and surrounded by the endless ocean.
We had been swimming, and I was the last one in the water. My father had made me promise not to go far while he was busy helping my brothers. I decided that I w8 months ago Read more -
Blog postI dog-sit at a house that’s surrounded by bushland. The first night I was there, I let the dogs out to relieve themselves before bed and was startled by how dark it was.
Nothing seemed to exist beyond the reach of the porch lights.
Then a branch snapped, and the dogs took off after it. As I stood there, helplessly listening to them chasing something through the underbrush, my mind went wild with thoughts of what, or who, could have been out there.

Blog postWe’ve all been put in situations when we had to question if it really is better to be safe than sorry It’s those times when we have to decide if we’re just being paranoid, or if the threat is actually real.

Powered by the souls of her victims, the witch’s malignance infests the woods surrounding Black River. If the survivors are to have any chance of stopping her, they must infiltrate the darkest depths of the forest, and destroy her blasphemous collection of souls, before it’s too late…

If they fail, they’ll pay with their own blood.
And a dark power greater than anything they have ever faced will be unleashed…

Benton has always dreamed through the eyes of killers. But recently, his dreams have changed into an unreadable pattern of shapes and screams. Death is coming, he can feel it in his bones, but he can’t tell who’s next in line.
In a desperate attempt to organize his thoughts, Benton travels to a sleep center in a neighboring town. It’s a short distance, only a few hours along a deserted highway, but there’s nothing easy about the journey. The lonesome road is plagued with mystery and murder. Lost souls linger along the highway…furious, violent, and relentless souls. They’re constantly searching for others to join them in death. Benton can see them. They can definitely see him.
Getting to the center is torturous but what he finds is worse than anything he could have ever imagined. A violent storm is brewing. Demonic forces ride the raging winds and become a swarm that seeks to destroy all life it encounters. Their eyes are set on Fort Wayward and if Benton can’t warn the unsuspecting town, the demons will claim every last soul.
The storm is coming. The spirits are rising. And death lingers on the highway of the lost...
The offspring of four cursed families risked everything to defeat the nightmare that haunts their bloodlines. But when an eerie melody chimes through the trees, they know the Bell Witch has returned. Her harvest of souls has begun, and they are running out of time.
Vowing to put an end to the evil presence, the four survivors venture into a network of caves. They descend deeper into the dark, flooded tunnels only to find demonic spirits tormenting them with nightmarish visions of the past—bitter secrets their families have fought hard to keep buried.
As the frigid water begins to rise, the survivors are confronted with the most horrific terror of all. They soon realize that the only way to get out of there alive is for one of them to make the ultimate sacrifice.
Will they survive? Or will they drown in the shadowy depths of the Witch’s cave?
Benton Bertrand is a banshee, a supernatural harbinger of doom. Each night he is plagued by terrifying dreams, prophecies of death seen through the eye of killers. And this time, the face he sees in his nightmare is his own…
After countless brushes with the paranormal, Benton returns home and struggles to reconnect with his parents. But his efforts to build a relationship with his estranged family are quickly overshadowed by another premonition of death. Something evil is stalking him. He can feel it watching, waiting, closing in.
When the vicious spirit attacks his loved ones in their own home, Benton and his parents seek refuge with his friend Nicole, in the sacred lands of the Siksika reservation. There, the two teenagers and their families must confront a horrifying secret from the past, before the deadly ghost strikes again. And they’re running out of time.
When the harvest moon rises, this evil entity will cross over into the land of the living, and take on a physical form. And it only needs one thing to complete its unholy ritual….
Benton Betrand’s blood.
Urban decay takes on a whole new meaning, when a hoodlum’s violent crime triggers terrifying supernatural forces. Somewhere over the rainbow, one lucky soul discovers that his fortune comes with a dark cost. And a gravedigger discovers that leaving old bones unburied lures a pack of sinister creatures to feed…
Scare Street proudly presents twelve bone-chilling tales of terror and suspense. A dozen diabolical delights to keep your mind occupied as you walk home, wandering through the dark city streets.
At night, the city seems empty and gloomy, almost lonely. You whistle as you walk down a cold, damp alley. After all, there’s nothing to fear. This isn’t a haunted castle or a fog-shrouded graveyard.
Then you hear a splash…
Footsteps behind you stomp through a puddle. A low growl fills the air. You run down the alley, gasping for breath. But instead of a busy street, you find only a brick wall. You’ve come to a dead end!
And as the growling grows louder, a painful realization hits you—
In this concrete jungle, you are the prey…
Benton Bertrand is plagued by nightmares. But the horrifying images he sees in his dreams are not mere fantasy. Benton is a banshee, a harbinger of doom. His visions are premonitions of death. And only he has the power to stop them from coming true…
When Benton and Nicole travel to the Fort Wayward tribal festival, they hope the wisdom of the Siksika tribe elders will help Benton come to grips with his terrifying abilities. But they soon learn they are not the only ones drawn to the sacred grounds.
The duo is haunted by a ravenous ghost that stalks the festival. This vicious entity uses the cries of an infant to lure the unwary, and its savage claws to disembowel its victims. As the tribe per-forms a ritual to banish the deadly spirit, Benton and Nicole hunt the evil creature, hoping to end its reign of terror before it fully begins.
But when a ghost from Benton’s past clashes with this deadly new spirit, their unholy conflict threatens to unleash a devastating curse.
Death is coming… And this time, even a banshee may not be enough to stop it.
