If you have a problem with a black woman talking about race then this probably isn't for you, but I thought it was hilarious. Definitely a fan now. I will be looking for more of her work going forward.

Could not hang with this boring, borderline racist, totally unfunny comic. She has no punchlines, has poor comic timing, and seems to just blather on without any point whatsoever. The show is occasionally punctuated by pointless and uninteresting cartoons. Pass!

So cool that so many professional comedians are writing reviews about how she's alllllmost there. The special was full of truth and had me nodding and yes-ing and laughing. Hoping to see more of her stand up.

I saw Sasheer perform live in Nashville at a conference this weekend, and was just blown away by how funny she was. She had me doubled over and the crowd loved her and was with her roaring every moment. I had remembered seeing her on Samantha Bee as well.

The first thing when I came home was look up her tour schedule and also see if she had any comedy specials. I came across this. Oddly enough, her act here started out with the same joke as her act in Nashville in March 2019, but somehow even though she was hilarious live, the joke wasn't funny in this special.

In fact her timing all over this special is completely off. Maybe she just needed to get her feet wet, and maybe she's just done a ton of work on her comedy and her act in the last two years. But I didn't laugh much during this special.

Looking forward to hearing from her more though.

Fantastic show! I thought her delivery was on point, the jokes were hilarious and insightful. If you dont like talking about race....well, you have other issues you should probably address in your own heart, but still, give this a watch! I'm not sure what show the 1 star reviewers were watching, but it wasnt Pizza Mind.

Even the audience in her special wasn't laughing. At best, a couple of giggles, and courtesy applause. Give her a decade, and she'll have honed her craft, until then avoid this flop.
