I totally got distracted by reading this awesome series. So much so that I didn't stop to review them all. With Silver Seals coming in the not so distant future, I thought I'd re-read and finish reviewing these now.

Mike Dorsen is the former SEAL Commander Lambert taps for this latest threat. He is on vacation from the FBI after a long and tedious investigation.

Zola is an Assistant DA who has put several terrorists behind bars for life. Her life has been threatened repeatedly but she has no clue about them. Her father, Senator Carver asked for her to be protected as these threats escalate. She also has history with Mike that goes back to when they were just kids.

Mike won't trust anyone else with her protection and he hasn't forgotten the gift she gave him all those years ago. He also hasn't forgiven himself for cutting everything off.

There is plenty of action both in and out of the bedroom. These two have to come to terms with the past as well as their future, even though they are constantly on the run to evade the bad guys.

I loved that his go to contact is a former SEAL I happen to love, Tex (from Susan Stoker's worlds). Even though Mike has Lambert and the CIA behind him, Tex always seems to get the right information a lot faster.

Fast paced, action packed and family drama with lots of sizzle to have you turning the pages.

This was another action packed book in the Sleeper SEALs series with Mike Dorson reconnecting with first love twelve years later when he is hired by the secret CIA group to protect a senators daughter by a twist of fate. She just so happened to be the girl he left behind when they were eighteen years old and now he was to guard her against terrorists that wanted her and her father dead. They had to go on the run as hired killers and terrorists were out to kill Zola because she was an assistant district attorney that had put their comrades behind bars. The sleeper CIA group had to solve who was pulling the strings so they could eliminate the cell. The excitement mounts as Zola and Mike reconnect and fall in love all over again fighting for their lives. After they the terrorist forced them off the road and managed to kidnap Zola which did not stop Mike from finding her and killing all the terrorists single handed and saved her father as well. But as it turns out other people were out to get Zola with hired killers. Mike once again came through for an exciting conclusion to their adventure. Now they just had to figure out the logistics of being together when their jobs had them in different cities. Mike decided to give up his FBI career so they could be together. In the end fate stepped in once more for them to really get their happily ever after when Zola became pregnant. This was an amazing suspenseful love story and I cannot wait to read the next book in this multi author series

I have read several of Ms. Jameson's other series and was surprised how well that I Loved this book.

Zola has always loved Mike since high school but when they both went away to college little did they know that their were others willing to do anything to keep them apart. So after years apart, Greg Lambert and his Sleeper Seals unit will bring them back together.

Flash forward 12 years when while recuperating Mike after finishing his last case as a FBI agent he gets a call from Greg Lambert who drops a bomb stating that Zola's life is in danger and would he be interested in guarding her? Of course he jumps at the chance to help keep her safe but knows that he'll have to eventually tell her his secret.

Zola now works in the ADA as a lawyer in Connecticut and has no clue she's being watched or threatened. When she sees who is guarding her she wonders if she'll have to guard her heart from Mike her one and only love. They will have to take a look at all the cases she's been a part of and decide who would be trying to kill her and why. But both will soon be on the run trying to evade the people who seems to always know where they are. (Kudos to Tex and his awesome computer skills!) Mike is willing to risk everything to rescue Zola when she is kidnapped but can he get there in time before the bomb detonates?

Thin story line covering pages of sex

I could not wait to review thIs book. It was awful. like well developed characters. This book did not have that for me. I love the foundation characters like the original seals and I think this story insults them. It has put me off of reading any more of the series. Sex in context of the story is ok but when I skip up to 8 pages repeatedly because I don't read to do fantasy sex, it is too much. Some of the best authors have gotten caught up in this style which I think is the fault of the publishers in their pursuit to sell books, and it really diminishes the work of a great author.

WOW! This was an intense story and not about the bad guys. The story between Mike and Zola was really intense. They loved each other before they headed to college and then Mike did a stupid thing - dumped Zola because of her dad. It took twelve years before they finally found each other again for a second chance at love. Once the final threat is neutralized, these two get their happily ever after and have a baby - WOW! This story went further by then getting married, having a child and Zola telling Mike he can go back to the job he loves so everyone gets their happily ever after. FANTASTIC job Becca! I would recommend this book.

Mike and Zola have history. At 18 they were in a relationship of 2 years when they both lost their virginity to each other. With both going off to college they promised they would be with each other when they could, phoned each other and emailed.

12 years later Zola's life is in danger and that of her dad and Mike is the man who has to protect her. Called up by Greg Lambert to be a sleeper to counteract terrorists, he has Tex to help him with hacking and computer stuff. Trying to get in front of the bad guys seems futile as they are always there. Run off the road and Zola missing can Mike rescue her and her father, the senator, from the bad guys and are they really safe after they find out who wants her dead?

I loved the chemistry between Mike and Zola from 18 and 12 years later.
