Our easy-to-use machines produce high-quality lamination, so you can feel conﬁdent laminating recipe cards, photos, important or frequently handled documents, arts & crafts, and more. All of our machines have settings for both 3 mil and 5 mil pouches. This basic 9-inch machine is a compact introduction to thermal laminating.


Make sure your machine is warm and ready to go. The on/off button can be found either as a toggle switch on the back or a push button on the top Choose your pouch setting, either 3 mil or 5 mil depending on the thickness of the pouch you are working with Warm up times can take between 1-6 minutes depending on your machine, your machine is warm enough to start laminating once the ready light illuminates If your machine has a feeding tray, ensure it is extended in the ready position	Place your project inside the laminating pouch. Center your item inside the pouch checking that you leave laminate margin on every side for best sealing results Have some fun with it by stacking multiple layers of colorful paper, confetti or lettering on top of one another	Place the Sealed End of the pouch into the machine, with the open end following behind. Check to make sure the pouch lines up to the opening to prevent an uneven or angled feed through Remove any objects that could get in the way of your project as it feeds out of the machine	Let the laminator do its thing! Avoid pulling or obstructing the pouch as it feeds through the laminator Your project will be hot when it exits the machine so use caution Helpful tip: Cut/trim pouches only After feeding through the machine

My laminator was working completely fine for about 10 uses, but when there was a blockage, I unscrewed the back to check out the problem. There was a sheet stuck that I wasn’t able to remove. So, I called customer support, told them the problem, and they said that since I opened the device, it was no longer protected under warranty. I find this to be completely ridiculous.

Bought this laminator for light office use in August. It stopped heating up in December. I tried to get a replacement. They cancelled my replacement request because I bought the Protection Plan. When I looked up instructions for that, it said that I bought a Computer/Laptop. To summarize, I received a defective product, spend extra money on a worthless Protection Plan, and I have no way of talking to a live person to straighten this out. I recommend AGAINST buying this product.

Breaks after a few months

This is my second one of these in a little over a year. I should have learned my lesson the first time. The first one I bought stopped feeding the paper / pouches through. This second one eats the pouches but they don’t come out the other side and get jammed in the machine. I’m just using regular thin copy paper. The back of the machine has completely melted. Save your money - this only lasted a few months and it’s already unusable.

The product description shows this laminator, but then, you are sent a cheaper model. The model sent does not have a tray and the good buttons. I am very disappointed, because I was replacing my old laminator which was the same as the one in the picture. I loved it. I have tried others with new trays or no trays, and they have not been as good. I'm feeling a little like this is bait and switch!

I bought this laminator - Scotch Thermal Laminator 2 Roller System (TL901) - for $29.69 from Amazon in February 2015. It's so very definitely NOT worth the crossed out price of $80.49! It wasn't worth that then and it's not worth that now! So firstly, don't be misled by the crossed out price. I really wish Amazon would start policing these misleading crossed out prices! This laminator can currently (date of this review is 2/10/2017) be purchased through a well known online department store for $19.97 (with free shipping or free in store pick-up). You can also buy the newer version - TL902 - through another online department store for only $17.99 (with free in store pick-up). So, the crossed out price here is terribly misleading. Note: I can't 'advertise' these stores here, but go shopping with your browser and you should find it around or under $20 elsewhere as well.

After 2 years of use, here's my review of my experience with this laminator:

Pros: It still works fine with light use for the past 2 years. Also, I have found it can give nice results if you only want to laminate items up to 3mm thickness (so a photo by itself or with a sticker on back for instance). It will laminate nicely for a 10 minute period, without warping or scorching. So, it's okay for light duty laminating of items of limited thickness. Note: I've found mine needs to be set to the 5mm thickness if I don't want the lamination lifting soon after being laminated.

Cons: I bought this laminator to make bookmarks for gifts using varying layers of card and photos, and later to use in my small home-based business for the same. I also planned to do cards with pressed flowers, but my machine gives bad results for any of that. I'm now looking to purchase bookmark sleeves, after 2 years of trying every way I could think of to get good results. This laminator seems incapable of laminating nicely varying layer heights of paper and card or card and pressed flowers (up to 5mm total thickness). The issues happen when I use photo paper together with thin to regular thickness card framing and backing the photos, unless it's all a uniform height (so no framing with the backing card). When using the 3mm setting the lamination lifts pretty quickly leaving ugly results. When using the 5mm setting, it may look great at first, but within a day or less the laminating film starts to lift leaving nasty marks on the card around the photo or all round the pressed flowers etc. Furthermore, I've had to be careful not to laminate for more than 10mins, or it gets too hot and starts scorching.

Overall, I'm not pleased with this laminator. It does not meet my needs and I would not recommend it. However, it might be fine for you if all you want to do is laminate the occasional photo.

'This is my second laminator. My first one finally quit , I believe it was probably my own doing. It served me well. I cut out very detailed snowflakes , when gifting them or displaying them some of them tore very easily. So I started thermal laminating all of them. I can honestly say I have laminated more then 10,000 snowflakes over the past two years. I use very inexpensive copy paper, 500 sheets per pack. Since July of this year I have cut out and laminated 3 packs . This machine is a beast, I used some very fine glitter on some of my snowflakes before laminating them. Some sealed without problems , after that, well I had to order a new one . Now snowflakes with glitter get introduced to an inexpensive iron I purchased. I believe my first laminator would still be running strong . I took it apart and was able to see the glitter wasn't flat enough causing friction between the two rollers in the laminator , therefore causing the rollers to turn inconsistently. LESSON LEARNED. I give this machine 5 stars because I know how much I used it and how wonderfully it did the job.' THANKS FOR READING , HAPPY HOLIDAYS.'

These snowflakes really have become an obsession. This machine is in my opinion a little work horse. It has continue to perform well for me every time I turn it on.
