This is such a unique and terrific movie. So much better and more thoughtful than your typical "suspense/horror" movie, with themes and moments that will sneak up on you and stick with you. Tight, smart, and well-written - honestly, try to avoid reading reviews with possible spoilers - just watch it, you won't be disappointed.

If you like a movie that captivates you right in the first 10 minutes and keeps you guessing what the heck is happening, or what's going to happen next, then this flick is for you. The story line jumps all over the place keeping you captivated throughout the entire movie. There are so many twists and turns my head was spinning. I couldn't wait until the end just to see what was going to happens. Even just five minutes from the movie being over I had absolutely no clue what was coming next! Great acting from everyone in this movie, I mean really great acting. If you like a good thriller with a lot of twists you will really enjoy this film. I can't wait to watch it again with my wife to see what she thinks!

the movie is way too drawn out. it's just a bunch of people saying stuff to each other. some creepy/scary things happen apparently at random, but there doesn't seem to be a storyline. and without wanting to be mean, the filler or botox helen hunt uses around her mouth interferes with her ability to enunciate, so her acting is really thrown off. this is super distracting. plus, amazon has altered the screen ratio such that the scenes are squished at some points. ugh.
A bunch of terrible things happened but they didn't, or maybe they did, but anyway it looked like they happened but then somebody threw in a twisty monkey wrench and it was all topsy turvy and everything you thought you knew was wrong--except for how badly Helen Hunt photographs. The camera no longer loves her but it doesn't matter since all she had to do was speak some dreary lines and "act."
Don't dare to miss the last five minutes where they make sure to get their drone-cam's-moneys worth and tell the whole really dumb story, all at once.
So, you're shut in during the pandemic and have given up the faintest notion of finding anything entertaining? This is the pic for you.

I haven't seen many movies lately that keep me on the edge of my seat, but this one did. It's right up there with Phone Booth,Panic Room, Summer of '84 and Bad Samaritan. I love movies that keep you guessing and engaged from start to finish. This was well worth the rental fee. No cheap jump scares but plenty of plot twists. Very well written and great acting all around!

Started out good, with the “family” and their atypical issues, I,e,, cheating, rebellious teenager, etc., Helen Hunt did a great job in the movie. However, too many different scenes that leave you guessing. Oh, and of course, the husband is the “bad guy”, and to boot, he’s a detective!, who finishes off Helen Hunt’s love interest in the movie. Oh, and the “phrogging” is too weird, what a strange phenomena. Sorry, I did not think It was good. It’s a half-baked attempt to make you think it’s a “horror” movie, which failed miserably. One saving grace was Helen Hunt’s acting and John Tenney did a decent job. All in all, a big disappointment.
This is a great slow burner, frequently throughout watching my assumptions were turned 360 degrees, its almost a "Dont Breathe" alike with twist after twist and as other reviews online mention is starts off as one thing and ends as another completely..
One note, for an arrow title the extras are absolutely terrible, interview pieces are repeated in some cases several times and dont offer much, the making of a scene is literally seconds long. Overall though you buy this for the film itself and it's well worth it.
Absolutely the best thriller I have seen in years. Amazing twists and turns and all brilliantly acted by the superb cast. Do not read the spoilers, go in blind and enjoy the dark, psychological horror.
Worum geht es also?
